MU-Steve

Had a chance to hook up with Ray over at Mappers United in Merrickville Ont. Had a great afternoon. But we don't know who's who. Can you pic the right photo ?
 
 

 
 

I can still access the site and I can tell you this....you aint missing anything.  Nothing much is going on there and I doubt there ever will be.  Capt use to run a decent show over there but then had to settle for some nutcases for admins who went all mindtrippy thus causing a lot of problems.  I have known Capt for years and use to be his Senior Admin on that site and now he wont even answer a PM from me.  I really could care less, I have my site and this one here to keep me entertained.

That is the question......Once upon a time, or so the legend states, there was a team there but lately it is just a vicious rumour!!!!

I like this place and I have been enjoying this thread immensely.

Im not sure if you are running any of my maps to be honest.  The last two that I did were for World at War and they are called Corregidor and Stronghold.  Lots of other mappers, some who have gone on to work at Treyarch and IW are associated with Mappers United.  I will try to get a list of maps that have been released by either members of MU or are good friends with us.

Seriously Im not Boomer, Boomer62 or any reincarnation of him.  He did donate a bunch of his mapping prefabs to my download section at my site so yes Boomer 62 is the same guy from here.
 
The core group of MU started playing together during the early days of Call of Duty.  I was mapping extensively back then.  Since then, after being members of different sites or clans we struck out on our own about 4 years ago and Mappers United came into being.  We played BO as a group and then moved on to BF3 and now BF4.  We are looking for new games to play all the time but not much except the same old same old is really capturing our imagination.  I havent had much time to play either on my server nor anyone elses for that matter because of work commitments but I will be coming by yours to play some old school fun games from the multitude of servers that you have available here.
 
In the meantime rest assured that Im Ray (or Steve) and not Boomer (Walt) and Im Canadian and I cheer for the Ottawa Senators!!!

LOl He's not Boomer  He is an Important guy as well. OK atleast to mappers and people that need help And he is not a Maple Leaf fan that must mean something
