if it isn't on "find servers" then you need to make sure you are running patch 1.3. As mentioned, there is a master server error so that might contribute. Best way to get on is enter the IP manually. Press ` to open the console, the button above Tab and type "connect 74.91.123.221:28960" (without the quotation marks) to connect to DM. If that doesn't connect, just quit to main menu, press ` again and type reconnect. Just make sure you enable console and make sure you have patch 1.3 installed. TDM server is: 74.91.123.194:28960

Server is up, just a master server issue where it will take a while to connect. Won't find many in there this time of day. Better off coming in later in the day

Yea, saying to press the console key would have saved a lot of scratching of heads As for that error, that is client side probably. Verify the games cache and it will see if anything is missing or there is an error with any of the downloaded files.

I always thought that ` was the console on games... it is for most of the ones I play. Never had to use ~ before, not on L4D2

The maps end when all the survivors are all killed or they make it to the safe room at the end of the level. As for plugins, they are client-side. My common infected are Storm Troopers and my survivors are characters from Mass Effect 3, the horde sound being the sound of a Banshee from said game. (fuck those things in ME3). I also have light-sabers because why the fuck not. I think you can have server side plugins. I will jump in tomorrow morning, if you are up for a bit DeeJay. It's sort of the same on our CoD2 server, when we play a sniper map. A lot of us like them in that server but we rarely play them. In terms of players on there, we all work as a team. If we see someone but can't take a shot, we call it out and hope someone can take it or if we get shot we do the same thing. I went in there yesterday and gave it a whirl so I know of the changing camouflage and we also have variable scopes as well on the CoD2 server, mine are bound to Alt and F, Alt being my melee key. As for new comers, I know the feeling. There are 4 on the CoD2 servers for our clan that are hella good snipers. Myself, Spartacus, Bullet and Newf. It's not fun with us on the same team but the CoD2 mod will run differently than the WaW one, a lot differently so I can't do much in WaW until I get used to the mod and maps!

I want to go into the Sniper server but I never know when anyone is actually around because every time I look, its bloody dead

Is there any chance we might all be going back to BF4? When I get my new PC, I can finally play it but I don't know who of you all still play it.

Sadly, I don't think it will be dedicated. They are having this massive 'community hub' thing where you can hang out with friends and shit. It's going to be very console catered to expect a shitty PC version.

I never understood the reason for cheating in mulitplayer games, takes all the fun away and makes you look like an arse. The only times I have ever 'cheated' in any game is when I have completed the game 100% on my games consoles and want a bit of fun, I don't do it online, it's stupid. Plus, some games I have have 'cheats' you can unlock which are basically extras to make the game more fun but not completely ruin the game.

For fuck sake, I built my tower and NOW I wanna put a castle on the hill next to it! Well, luckily, I am going exploring into the snowy region, will slam this castle on a high mountain retreat and be anti-social as heck
