ph4nt0m SgtHarryWeezer Question 1: Xfire only launches an .exe file and has no control over the game configuration whatsoever. Thats not entirely true, Xfire requires administrator rights to run because of the Xfire updater software, so any software that Xfire spawns will also run with administrator rights, on a machine with UAC enabled, this will load up a wrong config and map/mod folders than a desktop shortcut to the game will, it's a pain in the ass really but I never use Xfire to launch games any more True, but Xfire has no control over the game cofig itself, which is what I think he was asking. I don't use it either.

Question 1: Xfire only launches an .exe file and has no control over the game configuration whatsoever. Question 2: Next time it asks you to reconfig the game, say yes. Then, go in and change your resolution. That usually will clear the message, though I continue to see it in COD4 on occasion. I wouldn't change anything else under graphics other than brightness. Question 3: You shouldn't have to do that with the GPU you're running.

I hear that. When I was around 11 or so I came to the realization one summer that it had been a month since I had a "licking." I was amazed at my good fortune. My mother yelled at me once for something and I made the mistake of glaring back at her. My father saw it. He usually would grab the mop handle but he once broke that over us, and had to resort to the broom handle. All of my ancestry is French Canadian and I too grew up in a border city. If it wasn't so damned cold in the winter, I'd retire to Canada (might anyway) while/until this country gets its shit together. Canada is a great nation.
