Did you just rage quit the clan?
-
So close to home for you. It's only been 24 days in 2018 and we already have 11 school shootings.
-
I am sure its the FTAG 1 server, because on MW2 RPGs are the least of your concern.
-
Go Loco... @LOCO also, FUFUFU.
-
Awe buddy, you shoulda said something when you joined last night. All I can offer is a generic, hang in there not really knowing what you're going thru so as to offer any true words of comfort.
-
by the way I currently have recordings of getting headshots but no kills. In case you wanted to study the scenario. So no more shooting someone's foot across the map and getting a kill. Are you trying to make this game more realistic? Biting the enemy's leg, makes me think of @Unchileno. What if when we run out of ammo, we can throw our weapons and punch the enemy to death? running around weapon less and punching people.
-
@Sammy, so if you're the last one alive they can see you in the remaining two seconds of your spawn protection start spamming you until you become visible. Are you trying to promote hiding while in spawn protection? The explosive RCXD won't get disabled from EMP betties just slowed down, right? The defrosting RCXD won't be effected by EMPs or EMP betties, balanced right? You can still shoot both. Headshots no matter from what distance, should kill you correct? I don't wear body armor or flak jackets but I have noticed some times I can take a lot of hits and not die. Usually happens after I have thrown an EMP or started defrosting someone. I mean my screen is red, the other player is around the corner, not end of the map and I can turn around and kill them.

Loco and his bullshit nade
iboomboom replied to iboomboom's topic in Call of Duty 4's Call Of Duty 4 Discussion
@Sammy the nade he was carrying dropped and exploded outside. The nade he was not carrying, did not throw, did not exist, somehow came to existence and killed me. Please watch again and carefully. -

There was only one nade that he was carrying. How can you miss this? It blew up when he died. Then after his death, the ghost nade flew in from somewhere. -

Why don't you like us Sammy... -
This is more of a story of me keeping the poor woman on her toes. I was five or perhaps six years old. She wouldn't let me go out to play with my friends until I finished my homework and locked me in my room. We lived on the 5th floor in a residential suite. I had a window with no child protection bars (good old days) that opened next to an outside water/sewer pipe. I finished my home work, tried calling her but she was busy in the kitchen which was downstairs so she couldn't hear me. I tried everything I could to unlock/break the door but to no avail. Then I remembered watching Rambo repelling down on a hill with a rope in an action movie. The movie scene made an impression on me and as a child I thought it to be possible and true. I had an idea, I could do the same with that pipe. The challenge was to reach it without losing grip in the window. I was too young to know how this was the stupidest idea ever. I leaned out the window extended my leg to use my toe as friction point between the wall and the pipe. Then when I was confident I leaped in grabbing the pipe with my both my hands and putting my feet on the wall. I was so proud that I did that. I slowly descended down went to the bike locker got my bike and had a merry time with my buddies. I was not allowed to stay out after sunset so I came back and now I wanted to figure out how to go back up there. I climbed 2 times and fell half-way thru the first floor. The third time I reached just about the first floor and fell again, fucking gravity. I believe this was a 6-7 foot fall. I felt a current go thru my legs when I landed on the ground, it was cemented ground. At this point somehow some sense came to me that if I fall from the 2nd or third floor I might die. On the other hand my mom may or may not kill me for this. I was willing to take that bet. So I go home, I ring the bell, she opens the door and I am just ready to get my ass beaten up. To my surprise she greets me with a smile, "Oh you're back, good. Go wash up and I will bring milk and cookies to your room". For a moment I couldn't believe it, but then without showing any reaction I quietly chased up the stairs thinking I got away with it. Just as I reached the top step, she came back running up to me. I think it finally hit her. She grabbed my hand and took my outside my room. The door was locked, yes they had a lock outside my room as I used to sneak out. She looked at me and looked at the lock and as asked me how did I escape. Now, she taught me never to lie, even if it hurts you, a good person will always speak the truth. For whatever reason lessons such as those stuck with me. However, I wasn't that brave to, so I said "I was very quiet". She's starting to lose her mind, I think at this point she had begun to consider the "impossible" but was in denial. She unlocked the door to my room, kept checking the door up and down and then the open window caught her attention. She had that look on her face, that said no-way. She looked out, looked around, looked at the door and in a timid voice asked me, "Did you go out the window?" I was caught, couldn't diplomat my way out of this, so I came clean and described the entire adventure. She had tears running down her cheeks, she suddenly started slapping my face but it didn't hurt. Then she hugged me so tight that actually hurt. Then she says to me, "don't you ever do that to my heart again. You can go play any time you want, I just need to know that you're Ok". I told her that I tried calling her but she didn't come up so I solved my problem a different way. Sufficed to say mom dad never locked me again and then put bars on my window. It wasn't the last time I did something like this, falling of a 10-foot roof, getting my arm pierced by the metal rods on a security fence, getting electrocuted, sneaking in to a military compound, chased by wild hogs while trying to hunt then with my homemade bow & arrow, falling of my bike going downhill etc etc. I didn't make her life easy but she still gave me room to grow, to travel, and explore. Every time something bad happened I just remember how she always cared and loved me, her sweet face would calm my woes. The strongest love that exists in this world is between a mother and her child. I am thankful I grew up knowing what that feels like. If you read it this far, thank you. Also, thank you everyone for sharing your experience and the kind words, they were comforting. With Much Love, ~iBoomBoom

--- Creating a separate thread --- As some of you may know my mom passed away on October 10th, 2017. She suffered a heart attack but survived and stayed with us for 4 more days. She suffered a second one in the hospital that took her away from us. She would've been 61 had she lived 5 more days. It has been very tough for us to cope with this loss. She was the bravest person I knew, she taught me perseverance, patience, and kindness. To always look at the positive side, and give people the benefit of the doubt. She waited forever for me to get married and to have kids. I am glad she got to spend 2 months with my son, I take solace in knowing that she had that happiness. I miss her every day, driving home, having dinner, appreciating art; that was her favorite thing to do. These days I often find myself with teary eyes, like a little boy, it just hits me and my heart feels so crushed in that moment. I feel like she was taken too soon but it's God's will and I have to make peace with it somehow. I pretend to be normal perhaps that's how everyone deals with it, I dont know what to do I am very numb on the inside these days. I appreciate the heartfelt condolences and kind words of comfort from my XI family. Thank you all. P.S. I do apologize for cursing more than normal in-game, its not about you, rest assured.

How to Fly a Predator

@Sammy stick to the subject title Mr, also there is no wall. -
Mule do you use a headset with your onboard audio card or is it a PCIe card installed internally? It appears your device is not being detected by your motherboard. To rule out OS issue, create a Ubuntu USB disk and do a liveboot without installing the OS. if it plays sounds then your hardware is OK and its a Windows issue. https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/tutorial-create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#0

Simply put: https://www.publicknowledge.org/issues/net-neutrality https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/node/323681 These were the key points from Obama on supporting net neutrality. @fireurza - I don't follow as to what you understood from what I said. I will let Wikipedia do the talking... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_neutrality_in_the_United_States This is a decent read too, though I skimmed thru it. https://techcrunch.com/2017/05/30/commission-impossible-how-and-why-the-fcc-created-net-neutrality/
-
Net neutrality was introduced so that internet access stays the way it has been since. Comcast and Verizon want to control access to the services going on their network. Basically, Net Neutrality made it so Internet becomes a utility service, equal access to all. Now nothing can legally stop service providers from creating service tiers not just bandwidth tiers, but what services you shall access from their network. You may have to buy a Social package, Streaming package, bundle it all up that crap. A former Verizon lawyer gets the job of FCC Chairman and does the very thing that Verizon+Comcast was denied in 2015. How can you not see the problem here? Since, when has any business done things for the greater good of the people. Business interest always comes first.

MW2 Kill Streak activate vulnerability
iboomboom replied to iboomboom's topic in Call of Duty 4's Call Of Duty 4 Discussion
if you ever change it to people standing there while driving the car, the server will die faster than activation of the said killstreak. -
@Sammy I think I have mentioned this in-game as well. There is this delta between when you press the Killstreak activation key for RCXD, Predator etc and when you're in the Killstreak. It's about 1.5 seconds as far as a rough measurement goes. In this state we neither have a weapon to shoot nor are we in the safety of the Killstreak. Many a times, I have been shot or blown up while halfway to the Killstreak activation. Is this your intention to leave the player vulnerable or something that perhaps was overlooked? In past we would circumvent this by doing a conjunct move of running and jumping after we press the activation key (thank you whiners). Since you removed that we have no means to protect ourselves except to go look for a hiding place for killstreak activation. This is not so affordable when you're the last one left, or your team is down in numbers. Can you make the killstreak activation quicker? I have a video recording of this happening if you like. Thanks!
