  3. Welcome Insurgency admin team. Now do me a favor and call a kick vote on @@eidolonFIRE every now and then, blame it on the high school kids.
  4. We don't help viruses. Best way to be 100% sure, take this HDD out, nuke it in Microwave. Get a new HDD and start a new beginning. If you find yourself in the same situation again, rinse and repeat. You're welcome! always happy to help... On another note, it doesn't sound like that driver program was a virus. Most likely someone's custom ported driver and hence the reason they are unsigned. You can never be 100% sure with these things, use your PC as normal and if you see weird pop-ups while browsing then you know a malware exists. Run the conglomerate of software everyone has been talking about.
  5. Welcome to the Forums. And fuck you.

  11. Java extension? I can upload the TCP Optimizer app he is using. I meant to summarize the steps in text but I am lazy.
  12. He meant his offense is benign in comparison to the possinle hacks out there. He was implying our energies are better spent catching those guys than banning him for what he was banned for.
  13. All hail Comcast? In the other tests I would get 1 ms jitter but then it would self correct. I also did this http://www.xtremeidiots.com/topic/51806-optimizing-your-windows-network-tcpip-settings-for-less-lag/#entry558162 Edit: The server makes all the difference:
  14. While you cannot do anything about network lag, you can optimize your windows TCP/IP settings to operate optimally. I did follow the video and it greatly improved the consistency of my connection on Windows 8.1. When I run a speed test now it instantly hits 126Mbps instead of slowly climbing there. More importantly in PC games I have noticed better hit detection. Here you go, hope this helps.
  15. I couldn't test to NY at first but then I moved the globe, I would say test to NY. I ran subsequent tests and my jitter jumped from 1 to 2 ms. I modified the post to show the results of my 1st test to a NY server.
  16. Try this out and post your results http://www.pingtest.net/ This is mine:
