. . Along with today's rotation change, I made a small change to gameplay just to change things up a bit. The change only affects overtime in that during the 5 minute overtime round, a player will have only 3 lives. After that your just dead, no bringing out the ouija board, do not pass go, just dead. We don't hit overtime a lot but thought this would be an interesting change. Feel free to comment, I promise not to ban you if it's negative . Cheers Merlin

We continue to get qport errors which seem to take some time to clear. A small file change was made this morning in attempts to try and reduce the amount of time a qport error clears (which should not be any longer than a minute). If you get a qport error, please try and take note the time it takes to clear (unless you can get kicked by an admin fairly promptly) and if it occurs on a particular map. I believe it is random but want to try and verify and make sure it is not a map thing. In the mean time, please be patient and if you are not getting released from this error, try to find an admin on our Lounge channel in our TeamSpeak. Merlin

I believe it to be random. I have all the maps on my hardrive and once in a while, I'll get a qport error. Now I think it comes when loading between maps and noticed that if I do something to disrupt the game during this time, I may end up erroring out and then the qport error pops up. And by disruption, it could be as simple as hitting a keyboard key, as silly as that sounds, that causes an 'unhandled exception' error which then leaves me hanging for a qport error. I am going to test this out of course and on which maps but this is just my own personal observation on my machine. In the mean, I will be looking at the server files to try different things but as Labob said, there are timing settings that do affect the player in game which I did one time. So the best thing right now is to get a hold of an admin on TS, try disconnecting and connect momentarily to another sever, or as beers suggested, drop out at end of map before the next map reloads (although you will miss the end of match banter and bashing).

When it happens, check TS lounge channel for an admin to kick you. If you are talking about cod5 ft, I am looking into that for a solution. Some have found that by joining another server would release the qport so you can rejoin. Sorry, qport is a bugger and not easily fixed. Last fix I tried for namft, it would boot you if frozen too long thinking you were inactive. Then I hear, hey whats going on. I say, don't blame me, blame your team for not thawing you quicker. [emoji12] Do what hunter said, get the maps, and if it happens, look for an admin. Cheers
