I've been through all of the generations of Mac: Lisa, Mac 68k, Mac PPC, Mac Intel and now Mac Apple Silicon. Bill Gates and Microsoft bought me most of my Macs previous to the later iterations. No axe grinding, just providing some info.

I fake smoke em, ~16-32 hrs in sousvide bath with some liquid smoke in the bag and then blast them under the broiler and sauce for an hour or so.
