    Also, if you have a 64 bit OS be sure you have the 64 bit version of Java installed, you can check programs and features in the control panel so see if it is there. I would recomend getting the latest version of Java 7 as well, then get the 32 bit and 64 bit and remove all old versions. You can also just modify the launcher, seen below, click on the Edit Profile button Then towards the bottom put a check in the box for JVM Arguments, change it to -Xmx2G if you like, that gives you 2GB of RAM for Minecraft. You can also increase it as needed, I normally run at 4GB....

    I am also seeking to disable most of the kits, they don't really have much purpose on FTB. I will keep a couple of the basic ones that give you food and coal.

    Yes, as I understood it they are only going to continue development on the new game and servers.

    Nice way to stay positive about the game.... I just checked the site, they have LOTS of posts about updates, and very regular ones. Looks like they are back!!

    Hard to say, I guess they planned on giving everyone a copy that already owned it.... Not sure anyone would buy the "new" game in it's current state tho.... I played it a little, it was really rough and barren.

    Yeah, it was interesting, the updates stopped because the entire team was working on basically a whole new game, recreating the game from scratch. Oh well, I hope it all works out and the game is better in the end.
