I suppose I was a jock back in high school (although kind of a big jock) in that I played football, wrestled at one point, and did track later on. But I could always get along with just about anybody.

I don't know if 500 megs is that big anymore. It seems like there was a patch for Call of Duty: World at War that was well over a gig.

Sheesh, no wonder everyone is leaving Infinity Ward/Activision.

Yeah I think you will like Windows 7. It seems like it starts up and shuts down pretty fast and it is not quite the resourse hog that Vista was. Enjoy the new system and hopefully you don't muck it up too much.

From the sounds of it, Activision may not have been paying Infinity Ward royalties they are due for Modern Warfare 2 (which, given it is the best selling game of all time, is a lot of money). For the most part it seems like Activision is the one that called for no dedicated servers and all the other stuff we hate about Modern Warfare 2. If they are not paying their people what they earned then they need to be smacked down as much as the court will allow. This is why Infinity Ward is pissed off and leaving Activison in droves. Seems like publishlers live to screw over the developers that actually make the games.
