From what I seen of Win8... it looks like pure shit. There will be zero reason for me to upgrade. I really would like to see games more supported on Linux out the box. Video cards with drives for Linux. Sound cards.. linux. Then we all can have a real operating system that will smoke any PC on windows *.*. PC's are dead... i realize that. Just a matter of time. Then heart problems.. thought he was a goner then but the meds are helping. Now this again…. he is almost 15. If he has another my daughter and I proabablIm putting him down. Cant even think of him without shedding a tear. Im a pussy.... I admit it. Glad my son is ok. 2100 miles is kind of far for big emergencies.

I just found out my step son was in a bad accident yesterday. A guy blows through a stop sign plowing into the driver side spinning him around slamming him into a pole. He is sore but looks like nothing major. The less than a year old Acrua TSX is totaled. Daughter yesterday was frantic because Simon our MinPin looks to have had a stroke or a bad seizure. I did volunteer computer work for Child Advocates http://www.childadvocates.org/ in the 90’s. Since I was doing server work for them I started attending meetings. I was expecting the conversation to be about how to improve and reach more kids. The only thing they seemed to talk about was how to make more money. I was very disappointed and I stepped away. And Shamu a friend of the family who was wounded in Vietnam missing a leg and most fingers on one hand and other damage got a 2 nice golf bags 3 months ago. Gave one to my father as he does not need two. They send him stupid shit all the time like cups, hats and shirts.... you know advertisment stuff. Money well spent. What a way to help a vet. Sorry rant over... and off topic.
