I agree 100%. I allow both, my 11 year old son and 9 year old daughter to play. No complaints,  the ramblings on the servers are milk and cookies compared to the things they hear at school.

this kid should be banned, and if this was my kid he would no longer have a computer or console. He would be perma banned by me

Here is what my ping meter looked like this morning on HLSW. The green baseline in around 85. On days like this it just isn't worth playing.

Maybe you and a few pals should go and try the Euro server out Billy, you might find it is a really good mod in there, then we might not have a quiet server, apart from one or two others we only get Euro players going this server, this server actually gets much more traffic then it ever did when it was only the MW2 Ftag reserve server....thanks for the help everyone.

I woke up this morning to see two stories in the news. The first was a 72 year old grandmother in southern California who scared off an intruder with her .357 mag who wasn't even bothered by the home owners barking Rottweiller.

The second story was about a 4 year old boy and his father who were visiting a friend at his house. This "friend" owned a handgun and let the 4 year old play with it, that is until the kid pointed it at his dad, shot and killed him.

On the one hand we have a great story about what owning a gun is all about, and on the other hand we see what can happen when somebody who is completely irresponsible owns one. I am always amazed to hear stories about very young kids getting their hands on weapons and wonder what the mentality be like of the parents who leave their weapons in places where curious little hands can get them.
 
When I married my wife she practically made me get rid of all of my guns when we had kids. I fought her on it and while I was able to keep them, they've been locked in a vault ever since we were married. Not long ago my kids were surprised to hear that we even owned guns, and since I don't really hunt anymore I haven't really missed them.
 
Ownership of weapons comes with huge responsibility, and unfortunately there are too many people with kids who aren't responsible enough to own guns.

Make sure you read the readme ok, I think I thought they would have put SD in... but when I saw the arena file it did not show it.
If you want another game type included just let me know, I'd be happy to add for you!
It usually takes game front a little while for the link to be good, so if you can't find it.....give it a couple of hours it will be there!

Well it's the same reason as for the Euro server. People will go there, if you start populating it first. The only way to do that is to have members go in there, same as it has always been...

Yes somedays my ping and i know other regular players pings are a lot higher than usual, this has been happening a while, thought it was my isp but all my problems with them have been sorted for about a month now.......hey i got an idea why don't we all try the EURO SERVER  instead.

We don't actually have any stock maps in ftag1, never have as far as i can remember apart form when freezetag first came to our servers about 4 years ago, it's the old ftag2 that has all the stock maps, as Beers said it is 1 or 2 maps in every rotation and we have also have or had stock maps in this mod now or in the past and different versions of stock maps playing too. I am sure these maps will feel fresh and new to many of us because we hardly ever get to play them, there are lots of custom maps we have that i have played many more times then any of these stock maps. Lets not forget they are very good maps too.

My Ping has never been an issue with me on the U.S.  server, i just like the thought of no Novagas but if people ain't willing to go and sit in this server and wait it will fail, would be nice if players other then Europeans went in here but we know that's not going to happen, even though us Euro players keep getting told that our high pings give us an advantage in the U.S.  server, now is the time to prove it by coming in the Euro server and having a  high ping advantage over us, or was it just bullshit about the pings....yes us Euro players always knew that anyway

You can talk about our servers any time you want, if you wanna promote and let people know of another server we have then please do, as long as it's not another clans servers then there should be no problem talking about our servers on our servers

As far as i am concerned it should be ok BAS  this is one of our own servers so you are not advertising anyone elses servers, i put console messages in to get people to come. How do we get people in there if nobody can talk about it.
