Thanks guys - I downloaded the HSLW, found the server on his PC andI must say what a very cool tool there. K got him all updated... now when he tries to join. He gets this dang error now, "Error: Server is for low pings only." HSLW shows him pinging at 120-130 around the same as me when I play - so why is it blocking him i wonder...?

Hey all, Yup... I am still around! So my son, who is 9, has watched me play your Ace mod and now wants in on some of the action. He is a dang good player and will fit in nicely - he's respectful and he knows the no spawn camp / no spawn kill rule! Sadly, when I try to find you guys on his computers server browser for CoD4 - we can't find the server. We tried the IP search, name accending and ensured the server filters are identical so what gives? One only one thing that differs from his machine to mine is I run CoD through steam - he plays via the old school way via disk lol. He is also on my wireless while I am hard-lined in... not sure if that's a problem... Any ideas? I know he is aching to show me up lol in front of you guys... And I am still going to say in the end, "Whose your DADDY!!!!" LOL Regards.

Seems like every time I play CoD4MW (Ace Mod) or any server for that matter now - I can hear fellow players talk for about a minute into the game. Then... Nothing! The games sounds and such are all unaffected. But then I see fellow players talking on screen (Volume icon and name displayed) but sadly I do not hear them speaking. From my understanding, players on the server can still hear me just fine when this happens too. Does anyone else have these issuses and if so how do I remedy a fix for this problem, if there is one? One solution: Sometimes if I back out of the game and restart it - it fixes it... But only sometimes. Annoying as hell! Trust me, I fully enjoy the banter, gg's and the razzing from fellow players - I just didn't want fellow players thinking I am ignoring them all the time when I am not. System Specs of interest: Windows 7 (64bit) Logitech G35's All drivers updated and no devices reporting errors. Thanks in advance for any help / advice!

What you got hit with is whats commonly called a Rogue security software virus or better referred to as "Scare Ware." If I were you I would contact Pay Pal via phone or your Credit card company, screw email, and explain to them what has happened and that you are a victim of a fraudulent transaction. Stand strong and reiterate to them that you know you have been taken advantage of and you demand their help to resolve this issue. Asking you to prove this is ridiculas, you have the transaction to prove this - why you need a techs "advice" only proves to me PayPal is soo out of touch with current scams out there that this is truly unacceptable. I found this link that you can provide to paypal and you also may be able to use to rid yourself of this trash program.
