Question as it has been years for me but I remember having to uninstall malwarebytes and then side load it back from a thumb drive in safe mode to get the virus/malware off the pc...Is this something that others have done ?

Replace your iw3mp.exe with the correct one here is a copy of mine you can use it iw3mp.exe

Back up both your player profile folder and your iw3mp some where on a drive for safe keeping should you need either again and usermaps folder if you wish

yeah you would have to give yourself admin rights over your folder first then copy and paste it in

on steam you can go top library then right click on call of duty 4 then property then local files then verify integrity of game files..that will replace any missing files

mss32.dll put this in your cod4 folder

@Bazza Check and make sure your realtek drivers are there and your mic and headset are plugged in 3.5 jack....You can replace your iw3mp with this one if for some reason your got corrupted and worst case I can take a look at your files via anydesk if you would like iw3mp.exe

Do yourself a favor and back up a copy of your 1w3mp.exe and your player folder on a separate drive and your usersmap folder if you want
