    Should work same way by copying over steam.dll to folder however there is a chance you may have a corrupt exe. I just purchased for my grandson (Datgoat) the cod games on steam and had to build cod2 to get it to work

    Could this be the famouse 3.5 mic plug in issue ? Also make sure game display settings are same as desktop @SoColGuy is also having issues...His latest was a mp_broadcast missing image

    Hmmm sounds like some kind of ransomware Have you tried to show hidden folders and files ? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028316/windows-view-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-10 Not only that but there may be a portion that has now been set to write protected meaning you can not write to that portion...     The mod is in it's purest stock settings yes...Everything will need fine tuning

    I would like to ask everyone to consider this is a fresh from the door build...There will be issues,likes and dislikes and we will need simple input to address these as they come in...If you have played the 2.8 mod on the DM server then you know the likes and dislikes from there...However this will not be a mirror of that server and that is not our final goal.. HUD will be changed to remove the bullet hit in display @Hoth Respawn will be commanded out and you will not be required to hit use key to respawn

    Get well buddy and by all means take the meds and also look for food supplements...I myself have had some concerning problems and have eliminated most with food supplements like moringa and lycopene...Look them up and should you decide to use any vitamins make sure you buy these things from a quality place...I shop at "The Vitamin Shoppe" All the Best to you P-Man

    When ever this happens in COD2 I have the person delete the "mod" folder only and redownload it and problem is fixed and yes it happens often when player side mod gets corrupted
