I have only heard of cloud seeding where they dropped ice ( I think) into clouds to make it rain in dry countries, haven't heard of it in a while but was often mentioned in 60's and 70's

It certainly is a very strange way to run a country where the ruling body can't rule, we suffer from it too, democracy I fear is in grave peril, he who shouts loudest has their beliefs carried at the moment, we're in trouble until ALL the politicians do what they are elected to do - and that is represent the people not themselves. For the US the current President made no bones about his intentions, was elected I presume to carry them out by the majority, yet is thwarted every turn. We voted for Brexit in a democratic vote, and are making an absolute fool of ourselves trying to do it, perhaps we need to return to being ruled by a King or dictator, at least something happens, God politics again

They have just upped the penalties here, but you still see as many on the phone as there are no police now to catch them, politicians love to be important here making laws that cannot be enforced. We pay extra on our insurances to pay for accidents with uninsured drivers (and hence untaxed, and likely no licence) where the fine is a tiny fraction of insurance costs and that is why they risk it, we suspend their licences even if they don't have one??, how does that work? So you have it better than us by a long way.

Well I'm getting used to some of your car terms watching Overhauling ( a terrible programme ) and Fantom Works ( a great programme, note not program ), what I've learnt :- Spinners - discs hood - bonnet fender - wing and the fact you can't spell tyres plus I'm jealous as hell of the beautiful motors (engines) that you have, you would need to be very rich to run them in Europe, enjoy them while you can
