Having similar trouble now. I can load COD 5 but as soon I press "Find Game" in multiplayer steam freezes.

Followed all the advise and sometimes it's ok when downloading or loading a map. Having now less crashes. I think I will uninstall Steam and COD5 and reinstall it. See how it goes. Some have mentioned that it would be better running the game from disk rather than using Steam. If it doesn't work will order the disk and hopefully it works. Wishing you all a happy 2023!!

Hello, I have just upgraded my computer. Now, after reinstalling steam, on a new hard drive, amd installed COD 5 the computer freezes or restarts when loading a new map. Initially I thought my profile was corrupt so I reinstalled Steam and COD5 and started playing with a fresh profile. Same problem when the map changes the computer freezes. Have done it all over again with the same problem. Have you got any idea what the problem could be? My system is: AMD 7600X 32gb DDR 5 RAM RTX 3090 All drivers are up to date. Can anyone help?
