Hello Everyone, I will be in Europe from May 1st until May 23rd. In Germany from May 2-11. Hamburg May 2-5, Berlin May 5-8, Munich May 8- 11. Luxembourg May 11-13. Belgium May 13-15. Amsterdam,Holland May 15-18 and the Motherland -- Scotland May 18-23. Anyone have any suggestions on things to see/visit while I am there? I would love to see Bayern Munchen on May 10th if possible. Tickets online are $300 US, way too high for me. If anyone knows a legitimate way to get tickets for that fixture for a more affordable price, please let me know. Thanks to all! Jack (Mr. Crowe)

Loader I agree with your statements, however, there were 5 players discussing and talking shit about our President. I really don't want to mute people. I usually enjoy most of the banter. It seems that everyone these days feels it necessary to make their political and religious beliefs known.

Bart, LOM stated in his first response, "There are no rules against open mic political comments on our servers." To me, comments and discussion are the same thing. As I said before, I don't care if anything is done about this. I am merely pointing out that it happened so that the powers that be can do whatever they choose to do. I will deal with it however I see fit, whether that be by muting, ignoring or leaving the server for a bit.

Answering this would lead to a political discussion in itself so, no comment.

Bart, all I am doing here is reporting what happened. I don't make the rules and I have no say in what ultimately happens. I do my best to always follow the rules and now I realize that talking about politics is okay on the servers. You can trust that I won't be one who takes part in these discussions because, a. I am outnumbered, b. I don't think it's the proper place for such discussion and c. Because it serves no purpose but to show ignorance. I don't expect a solution, I just wanted to inform the powers that be.

Look, all I am saying is that it happened. It really doesn't matter if it happened once or everyday. I am very disappointed in the people that were doing the talking, as I would be of anyone who takes that extremely ignorant viewpoint and spews it in a somewhat public place. What happened last night was not an occasional political statement or joke. It was a completely ignorant set of statements made by several players. IMO, everyone is entitled to their opinion regardless of whether or not it is based on fact. I know how to change the channel, I know how to mute people and I am definitely not sensitive. I said very little at the time, all I said was, why are we talking about politics? All I was doing here was pointing out something and taking the route that I thought I was supposed to take.

I know I am probably severely outnumbered here regarding politics and religion but I have to say that I do not want to hear President Obama bashed and blamed for everything in the world while I'm trying to enjoy playing COD2. I am not going to mention names and I'm not going to point fingers. I was under the impression that we were not supposed to discuss politics on the servers, if I am wrong about that, please let me know. I'm not trying to get into any kind of conservative v. liberal discussion here. I realize that most members in this clan will no doubt disagree with me. I for one don't think political discussion or Obama bashing belong on a Xtremeidiots server. Thank you

I was on early afternoon from California. I didn't notice any lag (there were no other players on). My ping was between 48 and 52.

Yet another helpful and I must say expected post. Will you also be saying the same thing to the others who have supported my claim? The reason I started playing this game and joined this clan was to have fun and laugh, which I still experience occasionally. Forgive me for attempting to have that experience on a more consistent basis. Instead of cherry picking some of my comments, try to understand that several people on the west coast, that all have reliable connections, have started to have consistent ping issues within the last couple of months. As for your comments regarding laughter, I enjoy laughter and humor very much. You don't know me and I don't know you so please don't assume. I don't recall insulting you, so that comment is difficult to understand. If your comment stating that you would support me abstaining from playing in protest is not in jest, I will do my best to stay away when you or anyone else who has a problem with me is in-game, I want everyone to have fun . I mostly play on weekends so that should not be an issue.

Maybe now that Artimus has said something, people will listen instead of making silly comments?

Again, the fact that I was getting a ping in the 60's for quite a long time and now 85-100's tells me it's not on my end. I am definitely not the only one experiencing this. My connection tests out very well and I'm running a fiber optic line from Verizon FiOS at 75Mbps download/35Mbps upload. And yes, I will deal will this and adapt as I have with other issues.

In the last 2 months my ping on the COD2 DM as well as the COD5 servers has gone from a manageable 60-70 to a 85-100. This is truly a game changer for me. I know that nothing has changed on my end, has the server moved? I realize that there are players who do well with a 100 or higher ping but I'm not one of them.

Just as expected, the typical answers prevail. If this only affected me I wouldn't even bother posting or complaining. As I said before, I will find a way to deal with the bs and still have a good time. Honestly, I do much better when I don't visit or read forums like these. Answer if you wish but I'm done with this nonsense.

Not a "knee-jerk" reaction at all. Personally, I have been complaining about all of the above for months. I can say with certainty that I am not the only one who feels this way. I hear players complain all the time in game. I choose not to raise issues during the game unless absolutely necessary. I for one enjoy playing this game and I enjoy playing with about 90% of our members. I understand that this clan is going to allow camping, spawn killing, setting trip wires and mines just slightly outside the spawn. We can make the choice to not do anything about these issues or we can admit that they are happening and act accordingly to make changes. According to one of our admins, there are mods that would prevent camping and we could make a 5 sec spawn protect. If we do nothing and leave everything as is my only choice will be to find a way to have fun with the issues in place. I do find it interesting that I am the only one voicing an opinion on these issues when it clearly bothers several others.
