There are a few maps that kick me while I am on my Mac. Blimp Cottage will do it every time. I get an error that says "Handle for file: none free", then it kicks me. This is kind of frustrating because I am having COD2 probs on my Windows HD so I have no where to turn. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I am having a problem getting on the COD2 DM server when using my Windows comp. I keep getting an error message that says "invalid file referenced -- rg1.iwd. I have searched my drive for this file and I cannot find it. Any ideas? Thanks

Joe Canadian tHE gLOVe - origin of my game name (for anyone who cares) Hello All I get this question quite a bit so I thought I would take this opportunity to explain the origin of my game name. The name "the glove" is short for my original name, "sniff the glove" which comes from the movie Spinal Tap. The only reason that I capitalize and lower-case some letters is for effect (don't read anything into it, LoL) Others wanted to know why I used El Cantor in the game a few times. I use "El Cantor de Amor" (The Beaver of Love) once and a while in other games. I think it's humorous so I use it. I used to play Medal of Honor quite a bit and was in a clan called "RFT". I later formed my own clan called "SiN". I ran an MOH server and a Teamspeak server for a few years and then things kind of died out a bit. Happy that I found this game (COD2) and happy that I found you folks. I just got COD5 in the mail, so I will see how I like that. PimpedOutPete Unfortunately Glove that is the case. We first kick players that are only spectating, then the lower ones. This doesnt happen often so we apologise for the inconvience. Pete not a problem at all Pete. As you know I like to play on the DM server most of the time but occasionally I try my hand at TDM. I'm usually not to good at it because I have little patience to snipe or wait around. However, I am a good team-player I have a lot of deaths because I take a lot of chances and almost never stay still.

widowmaker thanks for the info.why don't you come over to cod4 and try out our acemod and freeze tag servers. garantee you will have a blast. just kick back chat it up and relax in the fun. Thanks Widomaker I am more of a WW2 shooter fan. Maybe someday I will change. In the past I haven't cared for Freeze-tag, I'm more of a DM or TDM guy. Somewhat of a purist. My former clan was rifles only, no nades. I loved that!

Blackbart I don't know who kick you but the rule of thumb is to kick the lowest scoring non member to make room for members wanting in... Well that was probably me. I was getting sniped left and right and didn't have even one kill.

On Saturday morning (9.24.11) I was kicked from the TDM server. I have no idea why. I wasn't doing very well but I didn't think that was a reason. When I tried to get back in the message was "server full". I must point out that I believe there were several other non-XI players on the server at the time I was kicked.

Joe Canadian Hey Glove, have you been able to figure it out? Just wondering, I only use xfire to connect to the cod4 xi server Nope, sorry Joe. I'm just going to have to connect using a direct from game method. When I first started playing this game the XI server did not appear on my in game list, now it does for some reason. I usually play COD2 using my Mac but when I want to use Xfire I need to use the Windows 7 section of my comp. Unfortunately there are now several maps that automatically kick me when I play on the Mac. It gets frustrating

Hello Everyone I am having a problem when connecting to the COD2 DM server using Xfire. For some reason I lose all of my settings including my name. This does not occur when I log straight into the server from the game itself. What am I missing? Can someone assist? Thank you :-)

Joe Canadian I bought a Razer Nosotromo gamepad back in April but ended up selling it. It takes time to get it properly configured and to get used to it. I didn't like the thumb button all that much. Im using a RAzer Lycosa (backlit) keyboard and I think its great. I wish, however I could find a better mouse than the Razer Death Adder I have...I don't really wanna spend a lot of cash unless I know I will be getting something better. I don't use macros and all the fancy extra buttons and I find that configuring mice could be kinda difficult at times. I need to find a smoother, easy to use mouse...any suggestions? anyone else playing on a Mac? I build "Hackintosh" comps. They have MacOS and Windows 7 systems in one box. You can even install Linux if you like :-)

Joe Canadian spanky i've made a list of everyone who posted on this forum and will be delivering a "explosive" present for each! old-man i'd tell you i'm going to nade you, but you already know that. my suggestion is that we have a nade only round:) ...everyone gets 10nades and no weapons! see how you back shooters do then!!!!!!!!! We should have a few "nade only" maps ;-) and a few "no nade" maps ... :-)
