In my humble opinion I feel that the gun ship should be taken out off the game or at least designed to be far more difficult to earn. I believe that it ruins an otherwise very fun experience on the DM Server. I'm a "Run n' Gun" style player so it does absolutely nothing for me. I realize that my opinion is probably not shared by very many people but I thought I would throw it out there anyway. Thanks

I have installed the game and patched up to 1.7. When I go onlne I can't login to any servers or find the XI WAW site. Can someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks

I agree, except for the shot gun and pistol part. The gunship is completely ridiculous and sniper maps should be for TDM only (IMO).

I agree LOM, The Area 51 mod was a lot more fun. Personally, I would rather not play on the TDM server. I think a mix of Area 51 and semi-traditional might serve better. I mostly enjoy run-n-gun type maps.

I can only play on weekends and I must say that I was shocked to see the new maps and mods. I was really enjoying the previous maps and mods. I don't like shotguns at all and sniper maps are a total bore to me. The DM server is the only one that I enjoy so I look forward to a change back if possible. I realize that my opinion is probably not shared by very many but that's my take on it. I was having a total blast with the sten's on the previous maps.

Hello Everyone ... I will be leaving for Europe on Saturday March 17th and returning Friday night March 30th. I will be visiting some of England and a whole lot of Scotland. I'm going to land in London and take the train to Edinburgh. I will stay in Edinburgh and branch out to various locations from there. I know we have at least one member from Scotland. I was playing against a guy from Romania today on the Area 51 server and he was able to change his name in an instant, several times by using key binds. His english was not good enough to show me how but he changed his name at least 10 times within seconds as we were playing. If I could figure out how he did this I think that would address this problem.

I have an issue regarding the letters in my game name changing colors when I log into XI servers. I realize that this is probably not a big deal but it is kind of annoying to have to change the letters each time you log into the server. If the letters were changed to a nice color it would be cool but they are kind of ugly to be honest. I use Red and White, the server changes the white only. I use ^1 for Red and ^7 for White. I know I'm not the only one experiencing this issue so can someone shed a bit of light here? This only happens when I play on my Windows 7 comp, the Mac doesn't have this issue. Thanks

Hello All Thought I would do a quick introduction and let you all know a bit about myself. My real name is Jack Crowe and I use the in game name tHE gLOVe. I started using that name originally because of the movie Spinal Tap. The name of one of their tours or albums was called "Sniff the glove" and I just shortened it to the glove. I am going to be 55 years old in mid November. I still feel 20! I have no kids and I am single. I live in Whittier, CA and work for a large law firm in Los Angeles during the evening. I enjoy watching College and Pro Football. I love MMA and watch the UFC and other fighting organizations. My hobbies include building hybrid computers (comps that run MacOS and Windows) and playing guitar. I used to play Medal of Honor a few years back. I was in a clan called -=RFT=- and I ran a clan called SiN (Strength in Numbers). We were a "Rifles only" clan with no nades. It was a great time and I met people from all over the world. I also had my own TS server to go with the MOH server. My style of play is mainly "run and gun". I don't like to stay in one place very long or camp in an area at all. I rarely use nades but I have been know to chuck one or two at a sniper or a camper. I love to bash snipers, campers and anyone else that stands unsuspecting (Pete) LoL! All in all, I have a great time playing on the XI servers. You guys are fun and I enjoy the banter. I've even learned to tolerate the air strikes, mortar attacks and the over-use of nades ... Hello all I am considering the purchase one large monitor to replace my two 24" monitors on my desktop. I run a hybrid computer that I built and it boots in MacOS Lion and Windows 7. The monitor that I was looking at yesterday was a Samsung 40" LED. I would like to know if anyone here has any experience using larger monitors with a computer and what their thoughts are. Any advice would be helpful. Keep in mind that I will be sitting approximately 2' to 3' from the monitor. Thanks

Congratulations Joe! You are without a doubt the best sport ever. I truly enjoy playing on the DM server with you. We always have fun, even if its just us two. Btw, your game has improved quite a bit in the last month. Keep up the good work my friend :-)

Hello I am usually a COD2 player but I have branched out and I am trying COD5. I have installed the game and I am wondering if there is any simple way to update and install all patches, maps and anything else I may need. Any help is appreciated ... :-)

Cpt.TennealXI It's in the ea games/cod2/main folder..delete it and it should download any file you need,and you should be good to go.Hope this helps,or hit me up on xfire if you still can't get in..captaintennealxi I forgot to mention that the file does not appear to exist. I can't find it in my main folder even though the error says its there.
