Hi Jack, well not so good I suppose following my motorcycle accident but hey I'm still alive and amusing myself in our forum as you no doubt see, keeps me sane. I cannot play with you at our usual times as I now sleep downstairs and the computer is upstairs ( this is my tablet ) the noise the crutches make wakes the wife. Hope to be back to normal sometime and killing you.

I could go for almost all of the above except straight DM, no teams. I love the idea of bolt rifles only (single shot), no scopes, no rifle nades, no RPG's, no flame throwers, no marty (Yay!!), no betties and no parachutes. I used to run a Rifles only clan in Medal of Honor with Poppycock a few years back. It was very successful then. -

I'm currently running a GTX 970 video card and I'm wondering if a 1080 would make a noticeable difference in COD5? Thanks

Why? It's makes a big difference in game play for me.

I fixed it! Somehow my frame rate got changed to 60 Hz. I changed it back to 144 Hz and my fps came back

Multi-Player on our COD2 DM server. To my knowledge all drivers are up to date. This just happened suddenly. I fixed it and then it came back.

Recently my fps has dropped in game from 150 and above to 60. It makes the game too laggy and hard to play for me. I was able to fix the issue temporarily by restarting the pc but now the issue has returned and no matter how many times I restart I can't get past 60 fps. I'm running a GTX 970 and I've never had an fps problems before. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks!

The most unusual and unexplained thing that I have ever witnessed is StreetCleaner consistently beating the shit out of everyone on COD4 and COD5 using a seriously slow and out-dated comp running Windows XP. "How does he do it? I don't know, he just does it!"

Lately I've bee experiencing "Awaiting connection..." when trying to log back into the COD5 DM Custom Maps server. It's annoying. Anyone know how to fix this?

Athena, It was both WaW DM server and CoD4 AceMod server for me. The WaW issue went away with time and after they restarted the CoD4 server my problem went away. However, I still have the "low ping players only" message on CoD4 AceMod. I have to type "/reconnect" in the console just to get in.

Btw, just an update. The only server this happens on is the AceMod DM server. Just for experimental purposes I jumped on to the other COD4 servers and had no issues.
