I think another very big issue is upgrading to Win10 as opposed to a fresh install. The fresh install seems to be the key for most.

Isn't Leadpoison running COD2 on Windows 10? He seems to be doing very well will it.

Oops, silly me ... I forgot that I had to unhide hidden folders. After I made a backup I lost all of my acquired weapons and perks. How could that happen?

dj, is this section assuming a Windows 10 starting point? I didn't see this on my install. I'm trying to copy my files from a Windows 7 install to a Windows 10 install. Hello All, I would like to move my player profile and perk settings/weapon settings to another install of COD5 on a new pc that I am building. I would like to move the data from a Windows 7 pc to a Windows 10 pc. Is this possible, and if yes, how do I go about it? Thank you!

Good job Mr. Pain! I didn't know you were into building pc's. Sorry about the MB situation. I used to avoid MSI in the past but I though they got their shit together. This build may take me a bit longer (too many medical bills lately). I might have to sell a guitar or 2 to get it done. I've always had the best luck with Gigabyte, Antec and Intel. Interesting that you went with the cooling radiator on the top?What processor did you go with?

Hello Everyone, I am in the process of building a new gaming pc to use with COD2 and COD5. I only have the case and cooler as of right now but I am compiling a list of components as I go. The case is an Antec Eleven Hundred V2 and the cooler is an Antec Kuhler H2o 950. I will probably go with an Antec modular power supply, an Intel i7/6700, a Gigabyte MB, Samsung SSD drive(s) and whatever the appropriate RAM will be. My question is, what video cards are folks using these days? I would like to stay within the Nvidia family. I'm assuming that I will stay with Windows 7 but I'm not opposed to having a Windows 10 drive also. I appreciate any helpful suggestions. Thanks, Jack (MrCrowe)

I've now got it to the point that I can use the headphones but still no mic. I've chosen the G35 in the control panel but COD2 doesn't have a level.

Hello All I'm having an issue with selecting and applying my Logitech G35 Headset in Windows & sound control panel. Everything worked until 2 days ago and the only thing I have changed is installing COD5. I normally play COD2 and currently I have to play on speakers with no mic. I have tried reloading the software, using a webcam mic (also by Logitech), reconfiguring drivers, unplugging and replugging and still no mic. I open the control panel, select hardware and sound, select sound, check off G35 and then Windows won't allow me to "apply". Apply stays faded grey. I'm fairly tech savvy and can usually figure out most comp issues but this one has me baffled. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello, I was wondering if I could get some assistance with a new install of World at War. When I attempt to join one of our servers I get a message about downloading an update. Can someone direct me to the update on our server? I also noticed that the game is now requiring me to have the DVD in the drive to launch. I didn't need to do that when I played before. If there is anything else I need to know about getting this game ready for our World at War servers, I would appreciate the assistance. Thanks
