    I don't see you on the server anymore and I'm sad of it, but you are true, I undertsand.
    All those bullshit defenses are still there but you can't jump with a single simple jump on a little wall or a roof? So it's camp fest, nice... soon maybe running a little bit will be forbidden then walking. seriously? I'm like pink. Adios cod4 soon.

    this will be changed back and I will look at some other options 
    you can always go play the old freeze tag mod that is up right now

    I don’t like this new mod. Totally agree with @Hawk. I have played this new mod a few times, and i can’t get used to it.
    A few bad points i.m.o. are:
    stealing perk- why bring that in a game??? What’s there to gain with this? So poorly gamers can steal something??? How petatic. Or that good players who don’t need it get more?
    divided cars- so what if you defrost 2-4 people and kill one person? I don’ t see the necessairity in it. 
     
    attackpackages that continuosly contain cars, seriously need 7+ kills for a freaking car, Where others receive in one map +2 Nukes/mini nukes. 
     
    i can go on and on, but i gave up! We will always have something to complain because maybe we are spoiled. The first mw2 versions were in my opinion the best, but like Sammy said, there is no going back. The more this clan/we are going forward the more people we lose  in playing ft mw2 version. The numbers from back then and now has hugely changed.

    Today I noticed the problem, the jumping height is too low
    earlier, through such a small obstacle you could easily jump over, see Photo,
    not after the change 🙄

    You missed the point of me not even getting a chance to use it.  I'm not talking about hording kill streaks.  And, even if I do decide to not use my kill streaks, that is my choice and goes along with my style of play and my tactics that I use while playing to win.  And your last sentence says it all about people who support heist, it is about making sure I can't use what I want....it's all about what you want me to be able to use.  Why should you or anyone else get a say so in how I use my killstreaks or perks?

    Is it possible to turn off the tracers for sniper rifles only? It seems like if you are going to play a sniper, it should be harder for people to figure out where you are.

    And also reduce the trigger perimeter, cause it's working through walls ! O_o
    Can you reduce the number of hit with the trophees to 2 please?
    Can you increase the time of respawn after the killstreak to the old one please?

    I've played a little and I'll play more this week-end.
    The one sec is too short really.
    You lose 2 sec at the start of getting a car (on going bug, ok), and you have just on sec after the explosion (cause the last sec you're visible, it's not 2 sec!). 
    So there is no need to collect 3 killstreaks and use it wisely when all your team is frozen. Or use a pred wisely when you know a guy is in a corner. And btw the guy in the corner got a trophees which cover several hits.
    If you don't use it immediatly there is always a guy waiting and stealing your stuff. No more tactics stuff with several killstreaks u can use at the right moment. And if you have just one sec to appear after the first killstreak, You can't do nothin after that and you lost one killstreak with heist.
    That ruins the tactics (but maybe people don't have tactics after all), that new stuff is only for people who don't move, sorry to say that but it's true. I don't undertsand why you want to reduce. Please put back the classic seconds.

    Sorry Rugger, but why create a perk if you have to create another perk to counter it? That's totally insane.
    So no way I'm using it. If I use it, I will guarantee the futur of the heist perk, and I DON'T WANT IT ! my way of thinking 🙂

    You want to fix a pretending pb of spawn protection after a killstreak? which is reward to kill people with straight kills.
    But still, Emp mine is too powerful, stealth doesn't work good with clay, trophees got multiples turns, heist's everywhere so you can't use ur killstreak wisely. Not to mention the fact that the last second of respawn you are visible and that there is always a pb of seconds at the start of the transformation into a car.
    This is why I don't understand the point of this new change in the first place rugger. Most of the attacking players are stigmatized with this change and the power of all the defenses and sitting players is not reduced. 🙄🙄

    The attack car's health.
    Not sure what is going on but when I run around with an attack car I get destroyed immediately when someone shoots at me. But I don't seem to be able to do the same when a car approaches me. Even when I hit it. 
    Are people getting headshots on my car or something in order to kill it immediately? The ones I drive around seem weak.

    You are a true software engineer... BTW, If no one told you before - thank you for the work you put into this mod. You're right, everyone here probably has no idea of who you are. I don't. I only vaguely remember you from years ago when I was playing and you first created the MW2 mod. It was cool as shit and has given life to this old ass game over the years. 
    As much as we hate to admit it, the game will die out eventually (like my beloved UT2k4). There will probably be a few that will always play but many of us have come and gone over the years of playing. I even took a 5 year break playing this game before. Remember the days everyone just ran around with the SteyrAUG (or whatever it was called)? Some of us got so dominating it lost some of the fun after awhile. But then it changed... and I believe updating and changing the mod over time will keep it alive. 
    I believe keeping this a sort of 'community project' will keep people playing longer. Every change over the years has been loved and hated. Surely you experience this in your regular work too. Cannot please everyone. Don't let the people hating get you down. There is always a boss that had the final say no matter what everyone else wanted. 
    If you would have kept the mod to yourself and not allowed anyone else in back in the day in I doubt it would have lasted this long with the kind of popularity it has had.

    You can just put back all the extra seconds after killstreaks ? and it's fine. those few seconds are not enough, agree with yoshi up there.
    On garena, most of people were sitting around the side of the spawn. And when you're using a car closed to the enemy, you have 4-5 guys around me after that waiting, some killstreaks became useless then lol. Better wait around spawn with all the defenses you got.
    If not, I have plenty of ideas for the other topic and make more fun : reduce time of emp mines, put heist away, reduce the perimetre of the betties, fix the deadsilence with the clay. Put some speed to the 'speedlight' perk?

    I do not like 2 seconds.  It takes me at least a second to orient myself when I come out of a Killstreak (I'm old and often confused ... lol.) 3 will be better ... 4 seconds was suggested in game yesterday and several thought that would be good too.
    <rant> I still don't understand the motivation for the change though. Was this to slow down 'good' players or to make bad players better?  I don't get it.  My issue is that we have a handful of players that are SO 'good' that they can somehow kill people at 3x the rate as the rest of the regular good players on our server.  (And don't get me going on how many kills in a row are headshots with some of those guys ...)  I hear you when you say make recordings, but those are from our perspective only and virtually useless in discovering anything other than vague suspicions.  I trust the admin team is doing 1st person specing and recordings ... hopefully with other game persona's to hide the fact that an admin is in spec mode.  I have mentioned the few things that I've seen from my perspective to admins here, but never hear anything back, so not even sure if they are being looked at.  Man ... PB days were amazing!  We caught so many cheaters in those days.  Wish we had that tool back.  Anyway ... </rant>
    Will give the 3 seconds a try this weekend.  It probably won't hurt/help my game much as I don't normally use killstreaks to move my position.  Choosing where to change into a KS will definitely come more into play.
    All this being said, thanks for all you guys/gals do in creating this mod and tweeking it.  I really do appreciate all the hard work and thinking that goes into it!

    I'm right there with you on this.  I'd rather play another server, but that server is only populated 3 hours out of the evening and I work nights, so I don't get to play there often as I would like.  I need to find other servers that stay populated.  This current mod has ruined the server in my opinion.  It use to stay full well into the morning hours on the weekends.  Now, it is empty by midnight.   
    For me, the heist perk, trophy perk, time it takes to change to a car, and now the limited spawn protection after being a car, and several other issues not addressed, make this mod absolutely terrible.

    This is a very good point. Often, when an enemy turns into a car, will be passed on so the team knows that there will be an enemy appearing in that location after the car explodes or timer runs out. The smart players know damn well that they are getting intel'd, so they use that 5 seconds to get the hell out of there to not be ambushed and have time to have their weapon ready to fire before they get shot. That's now gone. The ability to play smartly and use tactics is being diminished or even removed in favour of players who want to sit and camp.
    I love how you make it seem so simple. Try running across the map to find a safe place to hide before turning into a car. Odds are you'll get shot before you get there. And then you'll have your killstreak stolen by someone with the heist perk. Do you know how you get to a safe place without getting killed? SPAWN PROTECTION!!!
    I don't know how many times I've run into enemy spawn and died just to defrost a teammate. It's the most unselfish thing you can do in the game. I'm not looking for a pat on the back or anything, but I sure as shit don't want to have that ability nerfed. 
    Bottomline for me: the players who play a smart, tactical game, defrost teammates, and play as a team are being told to adapt and change to accommodate players who want to hide somewhere safe and camp. I just don't get it.

    Since my first post, I've seen multiple people say they don't like the change, heard others in-game say they don't like it at all, then some who don't think it's a big deal either way, and only a few who think it's a good idea. Oh and Basil, who has accepted her position as subordinate to the almighty admins and is happy as long as everyone is nice and she has her wine.
    I'm down for a compromise here and think having 4 seconds would be a good middle ground.

    This shorter time sure has killed my ability to get behind the team and wreak havoc.  It has also kept me from being able to move from where I was seen changing to a car which leaves me vunerable to enemy fire sooner without being able to defend myself because my gun doesn't come out as fast after re-spawning from a car.  The whole point in having more time after re-spawn is to have time to get into a position where I'm not compromised and can pull my gun out. 
    Also, you might as well take out every map that allows you to get completely across it with combat medic since you are so worried about people being taken out from behind.  That perk in itself causes the very issue you are trying to "fix" on small maps.
     In summation, this new time limit sucks ass and is stupid, like a lot about this mod.
