My employer has invested in me quite a large sum of money and time. If they want to protect their investment in me I am "jiggy" with that. mfj

    Not true, I turned off updates 1 year ago...I got drunk and decided to go ahead and follow the sheep to the slaughter...after 12 hours I turned off my computer, rebooted, updated everything then in 30 minutes was able to downgrade to Win 10 Pro... Once again...the reason for my post was to help others upgrade...not to degrade their system... that would be like voting for a candidate that gives everything away for free while claiming he can not be bought...

    The other day Chief mentioned that he lost his bookmarks on his Chrome browser...didn't think much of it....until it happened to me this morning... If your using Chrome...here is how you backup your bookmarks.... Open Google Chrome and click on the Customize and Control Google Chrome menu > Bookmarks >Bookmarks manager (or press [CTRL] + [shift] + [O]). Click on the Organize menu > Export bookmarks to HTML file: Choose a location to save the file and click on Save

    Yeah I have some of those... not using them. If the shop power is connected to your house power you should be able to run internet out to your shop. If your interested I will find them and send you some pictures, make and model. PM me. nj

    Moved Steam and 116 gigs of pictures to another drive....back down to 311 gigs used and 619 free... Thanks all! nj

    Getting close...oh and BTW Gatorgirl...oh hell NO! Found a handy Win 10 tool...it showed 332 gigs in gaming and apps, 166 gigs in desktop crap. Most of the games are Steam games I rarely play...I will delete all the games and Steam, redownload Steam to a 7200 1 T drive...that should free up some room. Thanks for the help nj

    I did the upgrade, deleted the old windows file, cleaned the disk...still showing 787 gigs used and 143 free....I am going to do a back up (onto another drive) then delete all but last restore point...again... Thanks, nj

    Why is my C drive so full? When I go look at it programs take up less than 100 meg or so...I cleaned it, deleted a few programs/games I don't use anymore...moved older pictures and music to another drive, erased all but the last restoral point and yet I still have a crap load of crap... What am I missing?? nj

    For some strange reason I decided to update from Win 7 Pro to Win 10. Here are a few tips.... Make sure your computer is 100 percent updated (I had turned off updates). Download Win 10 but do not install. Restart, then install. nj
