Been brewing off and on for years... awesome the selection of pre-canned beers you can order and reconstitute yourself. The cap-able empties can be purchased at you local beer/wine/spirits outlet.

Always a sad occasion when a pet passes; I have one that's turning 19 this year.

NOt nerdy enough; in keeping with the questionable choices made as of late by other members, please try for something goofier.

Sorry to hear that man; maybe you should come on over to team Weihenstephaner, they've been continuously brewing since the year 1040 (world's oldest brewery), and aren't going to disappoint you by selling out. https://www.weihenstephaner.de/en/our-beers/

You all have some pretty nice equipment, & not to make you guys feel bad and all...but I'm still rockin' my Kodak Zi8 from '09! ...and yes, it has the much-sought-after external mic. jack! Random pics taken with the ZI8: Yours truly: One of my buddies, Rudy Some homemade buttermilk buscuits The aftermath of a cake session My favorite fps series from days of yore: A Gold Master copy of Delta Force, signed by the production team, sent by the Manager: My most-excellent, from-scratch cheesecake: 4 packages cream cheese, 1.5 cups of sugar, 3/4 cup milk, 4 large eggs, 1 cup sour cream; all dairy brought to room temp. before preparation...baked @ 320F for 1 hr. I liked the BF series, COD series of course, Unreal Tournament(low-grav. servers maps like Facing Worlds), and, back in the day, the Delta Force series... I lived on the Delta Force servers for a time.. DFX had a nice, basic mix of vehicles & fun maps for it's time: 3-man buggy with a .50 cal position, Little Bird helicopters with room for 2 people on each skid ( my personal favorite thing to do with those was to stomp people..with practice, you could fly in quickly, arc down while pulling up on the stick and crush them where they stood or while they were running for their life) the satisfying bonk & subsequent stream of epithets was almost always satisfying. One could load up 5 buddies...2 on each skid, 1 in the passenger seat...and go on an M203 run...raining grenades on any hapless victims in your path. Sneaking into the opposing team's base, planting C4 in the helo, waiting for a loaded chopper of 5 to go on a run...then press the remote detonator for a wonderful mid-air explosion with a fireball & 4 or 5 kills was also pure happiness. There were Deathmatch, TDM, Capture the Flag, Flagball, Sniper-Advanced servers with minimal or no vehicles, King of the Hill, Team King of the Hill, etc. gametypes that provided something for everyone.. The DFX title was one in which knifing (as in Battlefield) was one of my other favorite things to do... I was actually #1 globally for kills & knife kills in that title. Some maps would also have a minigun Littlebird helo which, although it flew more slowly, was an instrument of destruction for negligent opposing forces when in the hands of a skilled pilot. The yellow Double Kill notifications were always welcome & resulted in other players, even on the other team (and often one of the 2 involved in the DK) saying "NS!") If one player got the jump on another but wanted to knife, they could pull their pistol & fire 1 or 2 shots to give a heads up to the potential victim that they would like to knife; knowing that they could have already been shot, most-all would honor this cue & enter into a knife fight, and more often than not, nobody would interrupt them until there was a winner. I liked the Delta Force Series enough that I made maps with it's editor and even learned how to export, convert & import models from that series into some COD4 custom maps that I made, in addition to custom models I made + skinned for COD4. I became so good at the game that the Novalogic manager sent me these: .
