  1. Sorry to hear that man; maybe you should come on over to team Weihenstephaner, they've been continuously brewing since the year 1040 (world's oldest brewery), and aren't going to disappoint you by selling out. https://www.weihenstephaner.de/en/our-beers/

  6. You all have some pretty nice equipment, & not to make you guys feel bad and all...but I'm still rockin' my Kodak Zi8 from '09! ...and yes, it has the much-sought-after external mic. jack! 9. I liked the BF series, COD series of course, Unreal Tournament(low-grav. servers maps like Facing Worlds), and, back in the day, the Delta Force series... I lived on the Delta Force servers for a time.. DFX had a nice, basic mix of vehicles & fun maps for it's time: 3-man buggy with a .50 cal position, Little Bird helicopters with room for 2 people on each skid ( my personal favorite thing to do with those was to stomp people..with practice, you could fly in quickly, arc down while pulling up on the stick and crush them where they stood or while they were running for their life) the satisfying bonk & subsequent stream of epithets was almost always satisfying. One could load up 5 buddies...2 on each skid, 1 in the passenger seat...and go on an M203 run...raining grenades on any hapless victims in your path. Sneaking into the opposing team's base, planting C4 in the helo, waiting for a loaded chopper of 5 to go on a run...then press the remote detonator for a wonderful mid-air explosion with a fireball & 4 or 5 kills was also pure happiness. There were Deathmatch, TDM, Capture the Flag, Flagball, Sniper-Advanced servers with minimal or no vehicles, King of the Hill, Team King of the Hill, etc. gametypes that provided something for everyone.. The DFX title was one in which knifing (as in Battlefield) was one of my other favorite things to do... I was actually #1 globally for kills & knife kills in that title. Some maps would also have a minigun Littlebird helo which, although it flew more slowly, was an instrument of destruction for negligent opposing forces when in the hands of a skilled pilot. The yellow Double Kill notifications were always welcome & resulted in other players, even on the other team (and often one of the 2 involved in the DK) saying "NS!") If one player got the jump on another but wanted to knife, they could pull their pistol & fire 1 or 2 shots to give a heads up to the potential victim that they would like to knife; knowing that they could have already been shot, most-all would honor this cue & enter into a knife fight, and more often than not, nobody would interrupt them until there was a winner. I liked the Delta Force Series enough that I made maps with it's editor and even learned how to export, convert & import models from that series into some COD4 custom maps that I made, in addition to custom models I made + skinned for COD4. I became so good at the game that the Novalogic manager sent me these: .
  10. I'm glad the maker of this video didn't drone on repeatedly & redundantly about the subject to make the video streeeeeeeettttttcccccchhhh out to 10 monetizing minutes.
  11. Happy Birthday!

  17. For 10+ years, I've used the same mouse...not the same model...the same mouse: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-518-Gaming-Grade-Optical-Mouse/dp/B0007Z1M50/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1547965524&sr=1-2&keywords=logitech+mx518 You can get the newer model, which I"ve read, work most-excellently also: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LZVNWIA/ref=sr_ob_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1547965524&sr=1-2 Can't go wrong with a Logitech gaming mouse. Even though I have had a mint-in-box backup all this time, I couldn't bring myself to open it when my trusty friend gave in; instead, I performed surgery to splice & repair the broken wire back in May...and it was successful! Still using Ol' Trusty & have the backup happily relaxing in it's packaging. Can only imaging the miles put on that cord over 10 years of sliding back and forth on my mouse pad.
  18. Your momma? Lemme get back to ya...
  19. So who's Batman & who's Robin?
  20. +1
  21. Good luck. If you want larger capacity sticks, you can always buy a used server board for ~$40 and cram it full of 4 & 8 gig sticks...
  22. Just make sure you're getting 5300, because the included example picture on that page is showing 6400.
  23. Freezetag MW2 has had a map in rotation the features green smoke that disorients you. Has a creek with 2-story ruins on one side, a long barn on the other; a long 2-story structure on one end...and a gas station and a cluster of buildings on the other.
  24. Yup, I have found the same information searching computer hardware forums about these older lga 775 boards. The mainboard on my backup rig is a Gigabyte 965P-DS3. It's not the power supply, it's not the ram; has to be the memory controller on the Nortbhridge not handling the 6400 ram. Maybe I will try an 8 Gig kit of 5300 and see if it works...the 4 Gig kit of the Patriot 5300 originally in there worked fine.
