  1. The addition of sour cream gave this cake a wonderful flavor, elevating it beyond your pedestrian pound cake. A little underdone...will bake it for the full hour next time. Changes I made to the recipe are: added 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. salt, used 1 cup sugar instead of 1-1/2 cups. . 2. Did she say 'masturbating her strawberries'?...gonna need to put that in another forum. Btw...where's some pics or a video of you making some food, slacker? ...and don't gimme this 'I don't eat' malarkey.
  3. Here's the recipe in video format: . . Fresh out of the oven: .
  4. Happy Birthday!... Btw, you share the last name of one of my favorite chess players. https://www.google.com/search?q=chess+book+by+Keres&oq=chess+book+by+Keres&aqs=chrome..69i57j0.4390j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

  6. Oh, it was fun! I could skywalk...especially loved it on maps like Facing Worlds; was also a great joy to run the ledges, find one & either wait for it's owner to reappear or just shoot it for a nasty surprise. The revolver rocket launcher was nice too: Spread, Single-focus...or just drop the charges in the base of the tower as I ported to the top.
  7. Very similar to the recipe I used; Glad I found the advice to drop the temp by 25 degrees since I was using a Pyrex dish. Have you tried the high ratio method?....maybe try it once and tell me what you think. The cook book I cut my teeth on was the Fanny Farmer cook book aka the Boston Cooking School...back in the '80s. https://www.amazon.com/Fannie-Farmer-Cookbook-Tradition-Generation/dp/0553568817
  8. With this recipe, I learned about 'high-ratio' preparation method; where you don't have to bother with creaming the butter with the sugar first. You just mix the dry ingredients, then add all the butter & 1/2 the liquid; mix...then add the remaining 1/2 of the liquid in 2 intervals. Much faster. This is the recipe I used: https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/perfect-pound-cake.html Next is a sour cream pound cake I see on allrecipes. =)
  9. Only cost ~$1.00 to make, too. =)
  10. ...It's nice & quiet in the cellar...
