Liking all the hardwood forest.

Bet it does taste good; especially that tea; reminds me of Appalachian Mountains out East from me. Love the serene quietude of remote areas; you realize how wound-up you are when begin to naturally relax in majesty of such an agrestic setting.

Now imagine, these frisky bastards get upwards of 100lbs...with really long, razor-sharp teeth...could break your neck with a jump &/or take a chunk out of you in the bargain... https://www.google.com/search?q=Monster+goliath+tiger+fish&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS941US941&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwispZ2MkPj1AhUwTd8KHa3TBLAQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1920&bih=937&dpr=2

I'm an avid fisherman, outdoor enthusiast when I take the time...so this is one of the related videos YouTube suggested...I remember seeing this fish featured on River Monsters a few years ago. Sometimes I browse a subject online, & it'll take me on related tangents...for instance, I roast my own coffee & ended reading about a Sulawisi coffee I purchased, which led to learning about the climate & volcanic soil's contributions to the uniqueness of their coffee flavor profies...which led me to learning about different kinds of volcanoes & faults that shape island formation, subduction zones...then...

This is the first question that comes to mind when I see this short clip; I knew fish were smart, but not so smart as to be aware what a human head is & furthermore it being a valid target area. The Goliath Tigerfish can reach ~100 lbs. in weight, sporting razor sharp teeth. They have been known to inflict deadly wounds on humans... even attacking alligators. And it's a freshwater fish! Like a GIANT NIGHTMARE PIRHANA!

As a police officer have you arrested someone you wish you hadn't? Yes, it was in 1967 in Grays Inn Road, London. A man was trying to fight a lamppost then he tried to fight me. I called the van and he was taken to the l station. By this time he had quietened down but was very drunk, I started to take off his coat and noticed the smell, then I noticed movement on his upper body, lice, he was covered in body lice. Making an executive decision I quickly pulled the coat back around him, took him back out to the van and we set off to the local hospital. At the hospital I managed get him on a metal trolley and started to wheel him in. Not fast enough, an eagle eyed Sister saw us and with another nurse managed to grab the head of the trolley. I explained the man was drunk and had body lice infestation and required medical attention. Catching the smell she was having none of it, grabbing the metal handle firmly she started pushing the trolley back into the street. I was at the other end with a colleague trying to push him back into the hospital. This went on for a good few minutes, back and forth. Then the drunk abruptly sat up and from deep inside his shirt pulled out a full half bottle of whisky and started singing. We now started to attract an audience, those not at deaths door in A&E next door came out to watch, the ambulance crew were cheering on the nurses, more nurses arrived to push and we were forced to accept defeat. Back at the station I was not very popular, the drunk had lost his whisky. Because body lice can live away from the body a fumigation specialists had to called in for the charge room and van. I, my colleague, and the drunk became guests of the local authority delousing suite, showered, the drunk given some secondhand clothes and our uniforms subjected to cleaning and heat treatment. The drunk was never charged, I just couldn’t go all over it again in court. EDIT: Wow 1.5K upvotes for a typical day in the life of young probationer PC in the 60’s. I didn’t expect that. Thanks. Mike

I think they come from their villages to Lahore to film this. There ARE cities with electricity in Pakistan, ya kn0w. They, however live on the outskirts, some of them, with just the basic necessities to get by; the channel actually has improved their standard of living. Some of them are illiterate, in the standard sense, but very literate in consideration & gratitude. There are other channels, like 'Trybals' where the people live waaay up in the mountains, with only a hut & their herd, no electricity ... & it takes them hours to come to a city via a motorbike on mountain paths. Great to see their perspective & widsom on different subjects. Their comportment is pleasing, refreshing, edifying.

Kind wholesome folks. Fun channel to follow.

Congrats bro. Couldn't happen to a nicer person

For that, she would have to give me an address... you'd have to be an Id0t to do something like that! =P

Because? ...for whatever you would use Vanilla extract; ;ie Vanilla ice cream, Vanilla cakes, Vanilla Frostings, Vanilla pudding, Vanilla wafers, Vanilla cookies, Vanilla Brulee... add it to, I dunno...pancakes, smoothies, yogurt, as an air freshener in spray or for a diffuser...french toast, waffles...coffee..milkshake...You can moisten something like a cotton ball & place it in your car, or the fridge, or any room or cupboard to improve the smell in the area...It's already naturally oily from the beans...so throw a few tablespoons in a mister bottle with 8oz of water & you got a nice, natural room air freshener spray...that you can drink if you like...or spray on yourself...making candies, toffee, caramels....strain it, mix with a natural fixative & you have a rich Vanilla scented body spray/fragrance...and it tastes & smells so much richer & nuanced, with notes both gustatory & olfactive that aren't discernable in the crap at the store.

Tastes great. Especially if Bourbon Vanilla flavored vodka sounds appealing. It's already pretty damn strong after 30 day...might be a Vanilla overload.

What TV shows or movies are you watching

Prime is such a nice deal, with the movies & shows.. plus free shipping & many other not so well-known perks. -
So, after a mere month, this vanilla extract is richer, more complex than anything you can buy at a store. Order the beans online, split them down the middle & then in half, then place in a bottle of vodka, even cheap vodka will do just fine. You want an ounce by weight of bean for every eight fluid ounces of vodka. This is minimum for commercial standard & is known as single fold strength. I went with triple fold concentration here. Tastes richer, somehow than using 3X the volume of single fold. The solvent becomes saturated with the fat being released from the beans & then becomes cloudy & unbelievably heady, complex. If you enjoy cooking & baking, this is well worth the $40 or so to make. Just give it a shake now and then. Maybe make twice as much, as you'll find it's hard to leave alone. That way, after a year or so, when it truly starts to shine, you won't have to wait another year for that level of flavor to develop. Also makes a great gift. As you use it, just add more vodka to continue drawing goodness from those beans; It's important to keep the beans covered to protect them from spoilage. You can use the spent beans to make vanilla sugar, just store them in a container with some sugar. Those dark things floating in it are the seeds/caviar from the bean.

Simple is always great; can taste the ingredients better than those "throw every fucking thing in your pantry" recipes.

That Old Bay is fire. This local seafood restaurant smells like it the moment you step in. Makes me hungry, even if I've recently eaten.

Oh yeah! bought 20 lbs. of 80/20 ground beef; time for some ground beef-intensive menu planning! Gotta have fresh buns toasted for the big boy burgers! Can't stand a wonderful burger ruined with shitty sunbeam or whatever 'hamburger buns'... & I use the term generously.

How could I forget wonderful, near-Prime, Black Angus Ribeyes for $5.99/lb? Shit, that's why I got so many. Bought the whole subprimal cut. Good eye, btw.

So, I made 2 gallons of chili late last nite - around 1 am. Left the lid on, put the stove element setting on 'Low'. Fell asleep. Woke up 8-9 hours later. Temp. reading at surface is 135F, stirred it - 165. Being covered & the food acidic, I felt confident it was good to go. Quickly cooled & portioned it into the chest freezer for future use(s). 12 lbs. total. Heynow. Can we take a moment to appreciate how sexay stainless is. Chili, too! Into a shallow pan to quickly cool... . A breezy 22F; perfect! Quickly down to temp... Wal mart lunchmeat empties are convenient for freezing in bulk... Generously portioned for future use... 12 pounds safely reposing. I love a happy ending.

Being an independent, I'd say Reagan and HW Bush. HW, because he oversaw the sea change that occurred with competence & professionalism. Vastly undervalued. The last administration before this stupid, jr. high hyperpartisanship settled in.

Been shooting since was a kid. It's a tool, nothing more. One which helped provide sustenance as this fine country was settled. -
I heard @FunStick & @babybackmoistened them up... whatever that means.

That's why I'm single; encounter enough morons on the streets, don't need one living with me. And this guy, asking if he's gonna headshot the deer. And then there's this fuckwit emo guy comes up trying to pet it while it screams in terror. So you have 2 inconsiderate dickbags using this poor creature's miserable circumstance as a mere opportunity to fulfill their selfish motives of attention & the other to pet the deer.
