  1. LOl; I see @M!dg3t @StormCrow on the turntable, @Lunkster, @FunStick @WeednFeed
  2. You can get a sticker for roadkill from Fish & Wildlife, take it home & process it. Now that you mention it, when I was out delivering about a week ago, just as it was getting dark, this brown lump comes sliding, scrabbling across the highway right in front of my car just as I was about to turn into a parking lot. Neither the doofus sheriff's deputy, nor the attention whore - in Kentucky of all places - knew how to kill-shot a deer. The report from the shotgun was considerably louder than the level heard on this video. Poor girl. Broke its leg either on the road, or in the drainage grate on the side of the road.
  3. Good stuff all the way around: Fun story, interesting relationships between the characters, amazing choreography by the man who plays the dancing coal miner -he's actually a choreographer by trade- the allegory(ies) that can be interpreted from this, beyond their apparent constituent meanings individually & as a whole. Nice song, too.

  5. Elgin timepieces are nice.
  6. See how vulnerable it is with these kernel extensions.
  7. Heynow
  8. Sorry! We could not locate the item you are trying to view.
  9. Never tried bacon coated with corn meal. I use bacon grease when I make corn bread, so prolly similar flavor.
  10. It's a piece I bought from Menard's store; it had been cut to the wrong size. So I bought it for $10 & built a platform from 4X4 lumber; gives me a lot more room to work in my living room than the cramped efficiency kitchen.
  11. It's really simple. In addition to the methods shown, you can also use your phone's angle finder to find the angle.
  12. Society's safety guardrails are literally bursting at the seams; you've got stupid people dying because they refuse to get a vaccine during a global pandemic; because Bill Gates put a 5G chip in there & animal husbandry horse dewormer gleaned from fucking huzlers is a seemingly more viable option. That's several orders of magnitude beyond anything remotely resembling 'idiocy'. Society does falter or collapse, Natural Selection will have a markedly drastic effect on those of the numpty persuasion. I mean, there are people walking this planet that don't how to cook bacon for god's sake! There's some REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY stupid motherfuckers out there. Willfully ignorant, gleefully reveling in their self-destruction. The main problem with 'stupid' is that it impacts, has consequences for those around them. All you have to do is take a drive down a moderately busy street & watch people's faces illuminated, staring down at their laps as they pilot a couple tons of steel at speed. And when the consequences do come...how could they possibly know? Wonder how many emergency room workers have been asked if it's too late to get the vaccine, as they're dying. When George Carlin suggested to consider how stupid the average person is; then realize 1/2 of them are 'stupider' than that, I took it as humorous hyperbole. Recent facts indicate otherwise. Really am somewhat flabbergasted.
  13. Love losing/finding myself there.
  14. Heynow.
  15. If a pet/buddy is securely attached & the owner/buddy is busy, they get attention when they can; sitting at the desk or the shitter makes no difference to them. I owe him my undivided attention whenever, leaving him in a box for hours at a time. It's a privilege & obligation.
  16. Your premise of their motive for posting is inaccurate.
  17. Yeah, yeah... which goes back to 'character' as foundational. Even a well-meaning, ignorant person is gonna at least not fuck it up further than an educated fucknugget with unresolved issues. =D
  18. Not just LEO's, any public service field, where interacting with the public is a central component of the job. Nursing, gas stations, White Castle... seeing people for what they are & handling the situation to make it as sm00th an interpersonal interaction for all involved, while not taking it personally, is integral, crucial. For yourself & whoever else. Reading a person or persons & using benign manipulation, mirroring, empathy... just as part of the 'job'. Psychology courses, maintaining detachment... yadda yadda...
  19. Character would be paramount, imho. Having been in customer service of varying degrees- with & without degrees - not taking what some random stranger says personally is a requisite for equanimity & sanity. Some places do great; others need to filter for temperament.
  20. Gonna roll it into a blunt; just softening it a bit.
  21. Realized I was out of tp whilst p00pin; only thing in reach was some glossy stock. You can imagine...opted for a sock. It was either that or the cat.
  22. It's shitchute, the nexus of legitimacy & source of countless Pulitzers. How's that ribeye steak-hand investigation skaking out? Oh, that's the other site of auspiciousness, huzlers or something.
