...a few key flavors make for the best foods; what simply-made foods do you enjoy making? Seasoned with soy sauce, garlic & a little butter.

...and how many documented cases of transmission from waste water have been confirmed? -
I'd actually do more of an Elvis snack & fry the banana & peanut butter sammich.

What are you tellin' me for, I didn't post the pic.

Toast the bun, shmear of peanut butter & drizzle with honey. Or forget the bun, batter & deep fry it; almost looks like some fair food.

This is the man you need to consult, although he's somewhat difficult, at times. https://youtu.be/y-W5pVO2BEs or his buddy: https://youtu.be/KSXP8tkWdtM

Ingenious & fun to watch the story(ies) develop as he helps law enforcement track & capture the theives.

This is what I use. It's a good brand. Dual probe @WeednFeed Limited-time deal: ThermoPro TP-17 Dual Probe Digital Cooking Meat Thermometer Large LCD Backlight Food Grill Thermometer with Timer Mode for Smoker Kitchen Oven BBQ, Silver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07477NMF4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_dl_FJF1K1N11F1V09EVV17Y?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Pierce, coat with olive oil & kosher salt, then bake @ 425F until reaching an internal temp. of ~210F. So much more fluffy than microwaving a potato & worth the extra 45 min.-hour if you have the time. No wrapping in foil. Love the taste of baked potato skin! You can tell by feel, too...when it's nice & soft, squish it around before splitting it open. This is another case where a ~$30 probe thermometer proves its utilitarian value. Cakes, breads, roasts of any kind of meat, steaks, sauces both sweet & savory become considerably, consistently better. A dual probe is especially useful to have the second probe to monitor oven/grill/smoker temp.

It's Zen with a useful byproduct.

They've been running (the two I have) pretty much 24/7 for the past 8 months; taking the time to clean them when needed. He likes to lay a distance in front of them, at times, catching the airflow entering through the window. It's a pleasant white background noise, not unlike a dryer running.

Bro, Merv rating 10 & under it's fine on 2/medium setting; Higher MERV values require a thicker (read deeper) filter... like 4 inches thick, instead of the basic 1 inch filter. Reason being, it greatly decreases the resistance & attendant load on the fan. It's a $20 fan, if it fails, will just return it.

Me too!! Was watching the storm approach on a mobile weather app as I sheltered; seeing the hook weaken over the final 10 minutes of its approach, I stepped out the door to peer up as it passed overhead. With all the lightning & boiling, roiling clouds illuminated in relief, it looked like a storm-cloaked alien mothership from Close Encounters in blitzkrieg mode, zooming through.

You know what? As rich as this is, especially with the freshly-grated Asiago... it would actually make a good topping for a baked potato.

Letting the onions have their time to slowly cook over 45 minutes is what takes the most time & patience to not let them burn. Forgot that I was out of caramelized onions. So I got another bag of onions, cooked them down & then froze them in an ice cube tray, putting the onion cubes in a zip-loc bag & into the freezer for whenever I want them for a recipe.
-
It actually tastes better than it looks. Almost a little too rich; might have to cut the leftovers with some milk to thin it out.

Fettuccine Alfredo... ...then a couple onions.. . . . LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Caramelized onions.. . . . . 30 minutes later, add a skosh of sugar to enhance the caramelization . These 2 onions have cooked down considerably & will add much yum to the meal: . . . . Deglaze with some white cooking wine to get all the good stuff into a reduction sauce... . . . . What else good? Black Forest Ham! Let's get a slab of that! . . . . . . Get that iron nice & hot for that Maillard action... . . . . . . Freshy grated Asiago & ground black peppercorns make such a difference . . . . . . . . Ham is done browning & the alfredo sauce has made nice with the caramelized onions... . Almost time to eat, just one more thing... . . . . . Once you've used freshly-grated, nothing else will do.. . . . . . Unbelievably good! . . . Well worth the time & effort.

Sorry to hear that , man.

If you're in a building, you want to shelter on the NE side of the structure, as the tornado is coming from the SW in almost all instances. Of course, if it's what looks to be an EF4 - EF5, it might not make much difference if you're above-ground. Almost 50 years ago, another massive tornado completely devastated another town not too far from here: Brandenburg, KY. I remember talking to a guy who survived it, while we were on a job site in Brandenburg in the early 1990's. This tornado system's path was similar- almost parallel- to this now known as the 'quad state tornado'.

People died & you reply with conspiracy bullshit. Fuck off with your stupidity, you absolute moron of morons.

...gets me outta bed to find shelter at 2 a.m. If it continuously stayed on the ground, it will break the record for the longest track in U.S. history. It also possibly set a record for strongest gate-to-gate wind readings recorded. It also set the record as the first tornado to travel across 4 states during its time on the ground. Prayers for the people of Mayfield & everywhere else impacted by this monster. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/12/10/arkansas-nursing-home-tornado/ It ripped through a nursing home & an Amazon facility before devastating Mayfield, Ky & striking a candle factory. Still had a huge radar signature as it bore down on my location, passing overhead. Video footage of the monster wedge:
