interesting... these are almost the same instructions. Both involve crysis wars extended mod. I wonder if that will work on the server?

.... oh, I remember that. It was a bother when it got foggy out. The smoke signals were considerably less effective.

that was probably just a cache of the same file you were editing. Most of these files you want to look at are in: c:\windows/system32/drivers/etc ..."hosts" in particular ...

well... if you have a good email host like gmail and use it in the browser instead of a software program like outlook. It's quite safe. Google does a fantastic job of throwing out the garbage and scanning attachments. Absolutely no danger of "accidentally" downloading something you don't want. You can look at the email and see what the attachment is without any risk at all. Obviously if it's something like a fishy .zip file just down download it. It will stay safely zipped up on a google server somewhere... not your own pc.

I use email and youtube. I make journal-like videos at the end of each year and send them to family. Believe it or not... email is pretty effective at sending messages to people you know. You can even put in pictures and links and stuff; just like facebook!

Did that years ago while still in in my Sophomore year. Never regretted it... not even for a moment. I deleted mine for much the same reasons as you. Looking back now it never really did anything to help me relate with my friends. It was just a clusterfuck of popularity polls and lonely people wanting attention. I've had much stronger and more meaning full friendships since then... just with a smaller group of people.
