I got a good friend of mine interested in the occasional pipe smoking. He liked the pipes I made and wanted to know how I made them.
Naturally this ended up in us making a pipe together. I showed him how to do it all so he can make more in the future.
I did most of the work on the stem while he did most of the work on the stummel.
It's 13.5" long from end to end. The stummel is briar while the stem is cedar. A 4" cut from my yard, seasoned since last fall. (I know... not ideal, but it's all I've got)
The ring is made of bronze while the tenon is nylon. The bronze usually looks more like brass/gold but the photo is weird.
The bowl is 0.75" x 1.75"
The draught hole and stem smoke channel is .125"
