Current pc specs Gigabyte 970 motherboard Amd fx 8120 cpu over clocked to 3.5 ghz Cooler master 212 evo cpu cooler Crucial ballistix 16 gig 1600 MHz ram Seagate 2 tb 7200 rpm HD Seagate 1 tb 7200 rpm HD for backup Gigabyte r9 280x 3 gig video card Cd/DVD writer Blu ray drive Other misc stuff The fx 8350 is for sale at 190 dollars give or take. And runs stock at 4 ghz. And gets a rating of 9032 on cpu mark vs the fx 8120 3.1 stock clock at 6602 on cpu mark. Do you guys think it would be worth the money to get the 8350 or better to wait for amd to come out with another socket since it seems that AM3+ is at its end. I know a lot of you are AMD haters and I know that pound for pound intel beats amd. It's just that amd can't be beat on price for what you get in my opinion. I don't want to go with the fx 9590 cpu mainly because of its power hungry 220 watt eating habit and lots of heat.

Iraq was given military weapons and training for their new army and they just gave up. Well if they won't fight for their country why in the hell should we? I am not in the military nor was I ever. That being said, I will support our troops no matter where our retarded government sends them. Each soldier should have the best weapons and armor money can buy because we can provide that. But I think any president that decides to send good American men and women to another country to fight somebody else's war should have to personally got to each soldiers parents and say "I have decided to send your son/daughter/husband/wife to die in a war that has nothing to do with America. I agree it's terrible what happened to him. But like you said he knew the risk. In my opinion if a group go people or country openly hates you don't go there. I am an American and America doesn't need to police the world. We have enough problems in our own country. The Middle East has been at war for ever and there is no end in sight. Using hacks in public gaming makes you untrustworthy forever in my book. Hackers ruin games for everyone. I'm sure you experienced this more than once as have everyone else here. In my opinion hacks are fine in single player games. You can have lots of fun hacking your own single player game. The only reason to hack in public games is to upset the people that are playing by the rules. I play games to relax and have a good time. Having a hacker on the server will interfere with that. Now if a group of people want to run a game on an open server with the rules stated up front to hack and cheat all you want that's fine. Everyone will be on the same page. The most upsetting thing to me is the use of "XI" tags without having earned them. Also whatever you might do while wearing said tags could reflect negatively on the XI clan. Now I have not been a member for too long compared to others here but I'm sure that they will feel the same as I on this matter. I had the honor of being asked if I wanted to join the XI clan. I have meet many wonderful people here. Many have helped me work through some extremely difficult time in my life. I enjoy talking to and playing with my clan mates. I don't have any friends. I tend to be a lonely person in life. I have found caring people here that I have not been able to find anywhere else in life. That may make me a looser or a freak but I don't really care. Now I do find the fact that you mentioned paying to have our site burdened with a DOS attack to be a bit over the line as well. I don't believe anything like that is called for on either side of this issue. There are so many other servers and sites that I'm sure you can have lots of great fun playing to your hearts content. You may even be able to get back on our servers using another name or ip and as long as no cheating is done no one would be the wiser. If so please enjoy all that the good people at XI have to offer. You may even find it rewarding to host your own server one day. Escalating from either side of the situation would not benefit anyone. So please everyone take a big step back from the big red button. Nisty I can try and help you. There is a program called team viewer. It will allow me to control your computer from mine. Then I can compare your setup to mine cause I have that game as well. Let me know if you are up for that.

I have always been in the mind to get the best single card solution you can afford. Lots of games have issues with dual card setups.

I mean no offence in any way shape or form. build dont buy. you can really maximize on you money doing it yourself. Now for the big question.....AMD or INTEL!!!!!!????? I went with AMD because of the price to performance ratio that can't be beat. I do respect the fact that Intel chips usually perform better than AMD in most applications. That being said if money is not really a problem then go Intel with a Nvidia gpu. If money is tight AMD will give you more bang for your buck in my opinion. Don't go overboard on you motherboard. Ha ha made a funny. You can easily spend a good portion of your budget on a top of the line motherboard and hardly use all of its benefits. Depending on what you are going to use this new pc for will help decide your mobo needs. Will you ever run sli or crossfire? Or will one videocard be plenty for your needs. Get a case that has plenty of fan mounts. Cooling is a major factor in longevity of components. Keep them cool keep them longer. I would suggest you not use the heat sink that comes with the cpu but for 35 bucks you can upgrade to a coolermaster 212 evo. Now I have no experience with the SSD drives. I plan on getting one soon though. But from what I hear and read is a SSD drive for the os is a must now days. Regular magnetic hard drives are getting cheaper each day so depending on you storage needs you can go wild with massive storage. Also you will need a cd/dvd drive/burner. Those are really cheap now. Get good quality thermal paste for your heat sink. Just to keep the dust bunnies to a minimum in my pc I got a cheap house air filter and cut pieces out of it to put in front of my fans. i bought ceramic pads. Ive never had those pads make that sound before. I was told that one of the rubber boots on the right rear caliper guide pin was torn and the pin had rust on it. I guess that could make it stick. I should just buy new pins and boots.

Hello fellow wrench heads. I have a couple questions to ask you. I have a 2000 Mustang GT automatic that I bought brand new. It has 200,000 miles on it now. I have always used 5w20 synthetic blend oil. Just about every time I get the oil changed they tell me I should be using 5w30 instead. The manual that came with the car says 5w20 as well as the oil filler cap on the engine. I live in north Alabama and it gets hot here in the summer so should I stick with the 5w20 or should I switch to 5w30 because of the mileage and heat of summer? Next is about my brakes. I had all 4 corners done with new rotors and pads about 3 months ago. I normally would do this myself but can't due to my knee injury. Anyway, the work great and all at light to medium braking but at hard braking they make a horrible grinding sound. I got the parts from Rockauto and not the cheapo set either. Any suggestions as to what it might be? Could it be wheel bearing or caliper guide pin sticking? Any suggestions would be great thanks.
