Yes I do think the video card is the weak link right now for GAMES. I would upgrade the CPU for more gains in overall performance. If he mainly just plays games then the video card would be the best upgrade for now. That is why I added the GTX 760 in my second post. I felt showing him multiple options would give him more to think about. I apologize for any confusion on my part. Well if you are like me and can only afford to upgrade a piece at a time I would go with the highest single GPU I could afford first. I read somewhere that the AMD +3 platform may be discontinued soon. If so those parts will drop in price. They are good parts. I run a FX-8150 at 4ghz. For the money you cant beat AMD. Now I am not trying to start a war on which is better Intel or AMD. Yes Intel pound for pound will out perform most AMD parts but for the money 8 cores will last a long time especially when more programs are coded to use more that one core. I have always heard that a single card solution is better than a dual card solution for the same frame rate because of less complications. Just my 2 cents, thanks for reading.

I you fancy building the computer yourself you can get more bang for your buck. It is not that hard. Just read all instructions carefully and remember to ground yourself before touching all components. I run an AMD FX 8120 at 4 ghz 16 gig ram gigabyte mobo and xfx 6950 2 gig video card. Much cheaper if you build yourself.

i understand that these companies want to make a good game, but there is no guarantee that the money I pay for an unfinished Alpha or Beta of a program will ever be completed. This new method of wrangling money from the gamer concerns me greatly. Yes I know I am the only one with the power to give them my money. I just think it is bad business. In my opinion if a game proposal is legitimate a gaming company will fit the bill to create it. Isn't that how DICE got started. They modded the BF2 game and it took off like a rocket in the gaming community. EA saw an opportunity and gobbled them up. The last thing I want to do is spend money on something that I might not get any return on. Such as a game that remains unfinished for years only to be completed when the game engine is sorely outdated and the multi player community has left it. Or a game that is reported to be finished only to be unplayable due to bug and bad programming. Just my 2 cents, Feel free to return them if you don't like.

i looked at the videos of people playing it and there is so much of the bandits killing you on site it really puts me off getting this game. I understand it is about survival and the zombies seem to be just an after thought. Maybe it will be better if they could make the new spawns have some sort of spawn protection for a while so you can get a leg up on the situation.

All governments are evil. They exist to keep the population in check. Some check are good but for the most part they have their own interest up front instead of the people. Case in point here in the U.S. there are certain immigration laws that have been on the books for years that the government chooses to ignore. As long as people run governments they will be corrupt.
