The earlier post I said the only thing people would notice is that ghettostomp should work with air support now. Nothing about the car or anything related to the player clone system. I would think that is a sign that the setting was a mistake.

It was a just a wrong setting. Not a change.

Well yea, I have been asleep. Looks like there were a few settings different here than on the server. Reset them and restarted. Car should be fine now. Sometimes the wrong settings get uploaded. Just like sometimes a map rotation isnt quite right and a map is missing or there is a wrong mapname. After which they are fixed. When this happens please bear with everyone.

Geez. Its just a game people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, the thing with the player body while in the car or predator is wrong and a simple switch. Forgot I had it enabled here at home and didnt think to check it when I uploaded a new config to deal with ghettostomp. The player body is the default, to match the other games, but the option is there to let servers choose.

Uploaded a few script updates. Most just background stuff. ghettostomp should now work with air support and care packages. Let me know if they dont. That map did have two map ceilings for some reason. Or something that behaves as two. So that wasnt working with airstrike height checks and everything was hitting the lower ceiling. A fun new option I added, disabled by default, handles ties at the end of overtime in a different way. In short, there is no tie. If the remaining players are 3 v 3 etc at the end of sudden death, then the almighty freezetag gods from on high command that one team must win as the chosen ones. The heathen pagans explode.

Its more than watts but rating. The better ones go from bronze, to silver, then gold. The better the rating the greater the efficiency. Which also helps to reduce energy costs in addition to things like heat generated.

It does shoot at the artillery launcher after the first four shells landed but not the shells themselves. Launches its missile high in the direction the shells came from and then it arcs back down targeting the launcher. It should go after the defroster also but will check to make sure. It wont go after the B2. Also, the standard airstrike is usually just too fast. edit: No I forgot. It does not target stealth aircraft unless there is a friendly UAV. Any streak that uses the pegasus or the b2.

Currently for this addition, its visible for a few seconds at that spot if you fire a non-silenced weapon. The method tried yesterday was unfair when teams were too one-sided and I agree it was one step below a wall hack. Especially for wall spammers. Anyways, there is nothing wrong with trying new ingredients to an old recipe. Sometimes its a good one (defroster emp) sometimes its not. In which case go to the next one and try it. Chef's like to try new things and find some interesting mixes but in the end there is no substitute for patrons to try it and give feedback. That is how they discover new things. You mean you started the car, a friendly launched a uav, and when out of the car you had no minimap or something?

k different basic version. Should work but never got a chance to test it online because none of the matches went to OT. Uses the standard always-on that shows the dots for a moment when you fire a non-silenced weapon. The other idea, of a short scan showing everybody for 5-10 seconds each minute, should work but might have to do a hud alteration to make it work right and include the esc tacmap. Not %100 sure yet. May be able to without it.

Did you press V or melee to get out of 3rd person? Forgot about the big map. I will add that. Might try something like a 10 second sweep at the beginning of each minute in OT. Which in this case, with a 2 minute OT, means two of them.

Tubes only. That should go over *very* well.

The short uav should be simple enough to do. Maybe 10 seconds. Pistols only with always-on uav could be fun. Gotta get really close. Yes I know people that do nothing but snipe wouldnt like it. But since sniper loadouts come with a pistol we should all expect that snipers be proficient at using it. A sniper wont get his wa2000. But the other guy doesnt get his 308.

You mean the 'tab' scoreboard or the hud elements next to the frozen icon? The tab scoreboard is engine controlled and correct. Dead is dead. However if the hud element is not correct let me know. Could be its not updating correctly when sudden death starts. The goal is not to make it end quicker. But to end with a victor instead of a draw. Forced uav pushes players closer to one another to fight, which is the actual goal. One issue is if sudden death starts with 8 vs 1 or something like that. So while imo the theory is sound yes I agree that it can be pretty unfair. Therefore thinking about variations on that idea so that it is. Maybe in addition to uav do pistols only. Maybe do forced uav for the first 30 seconds only. Stuff like that. Open to other ideas. However if nothing works well then that's ok also.

Small temp change. In suddendeath there is now a forced uav that shows the location of everybody. Regardless of whether or not you have stealth. The purpose is to help deal with matches that end in no winner because there are too many 'draw' rounds. Either because people camp or a map is simply a little too big for players to attack each other. Not a panacea and might introduce its own issues to consider but an interesting change nonetheless to see how it works. Post here what you think after playing a few matches with it.

I imagine under typical use the first one is fine. But if you plan to push it then the other one is probably better. But best to research them. The 'best' ones are behemoths but they are probably extreme overclockers. Another factor is ambient temperature. No matter what you do it is impossible for a processor to go below it. So people in LA need excellent cooling but people living in the snow can get away with much more.

Yup nothing wrong with a 256 ssd for programs.... assuming not loaded with big games... and a wd black for everything else. Basically thats the idea behind hybrids anyways but keeping a clean boot ssd with programs and swapping out or adding hdds for the heavy lifting as needed is preferable. Albeit more work to set up.

It's simple. The only people that can 'test' cheats are those that have a legitimate and administrative need to do so for the good of the server. And even then the appropriate people must know about it. I would think that is basic adult common sense. If it isnt yours, you dont screw with it. Like spouses.

The longer flat one that fits on the top. A bitch to install. No offense to the bitchers here. A bit pricey compared to the lower cost air coolers but it works well even during several hours of h264 encoding.

Added some config settings that should help with ghettostomp when the server is restarted. Maybe not everything tho because I need to upload a couple script fixes also for the care package and airstrike. Occasionally there is a map with some strangeness and things need tweaking. Its behaving as tho there are two map ceilings at different heights.
