  1. Now that's funny. And that 'friend' is going to Hell. Twice.
  2. Well just made my first ever online order for imported goods via cdjapan. One urusei yatsura bluray and a mari iijima CD. We shall see if there are any problems. Shipping does say a signature will be required but there is tracking included so I should know when it is out for delivery. Wish me luck.
  3. Military Intelligence?
  4. You could put water through a filter which helps quite a bit. Pure tap water here sucks because its a bit overloaded with chlorine but when put through a filter its ok.
  5. Xtreme Bad Hitdetection.
  6. Sounds like I dont have much to worry about so as long as the seller and shipper are reputable. That and if I am not trying to import 10 grand worth of merchandise.
  7. Revenge. Magic mirrors are like lawyers. Be very careful what you say or they will fuck with you.
  8. Xtreme Crybabies Freezetag. Wouldnt fit on the server browser tho. Just a hud element in the game itself.
  9. Well that tells me I am older than you. First saw the movie in 85-86 when it made the rounds around the various anime communities while I was in high school. If you are talking robotech however, which I didnt actually see until later, you can get that domestically extremely cheap from Amazon. cdjapan told me that import duties are not something they collect up front because they are simply too complicated with all the various locations around the world having different policies. People around are saying it is unlikely a small package with less than $200 US declared value would be opened up but no guarantees. I am just a worry wart. edit: Back in my youth there was a Kinokunya store a 10 minute walk away that would order stuff for me. Ah the good ol days.
  10. I suppose it might do that if you are trying to join in the middle of a round or map change. In both cases the server partially shuts down and restarts itself. So if it does this while waiting to connect your client wont always get a response. Just a thought.
  11. Xtreme Butthurt?
  12. 30th anniversary Macross BD is coming out in Jan and its too good to pass up. So it would be one of those two companies I would preorder from. I just fear some customs official having a bad day and deciding he wants to hold up a small package with a disc or add another %50 to the cost.
  13. Anybody ever use the company 'cdjapan' to import either music or dvds into the United States? Or Amazon jp? I am curious how strict US customs is if its just one or two BD's. Also whether or not they actually need someone at the door before they would deliver it.
  14. Considering there is only one female smurf that would sound more like a major gang bang. Eeeek.
  15. I mean a material that will absorb the heat itself away from chips or cores or whatever. Something that will absorb a huge amount of heat without failing or melting. Nor getting hot to the touch. I suppose like how sealed ice packs work. They absorb the heat from the outside water, which in turn melts the ice as it goes, but it never gets hot itself. But if the melting point of the material is extremely high, far higher than a processor could ever get over time, then it would continually absorb it. Yes nothing is that simple and it's just a laymans idea not an engineers idea.
  16. By now I would think someone would have invented processors that can run at very high heats with minimal or no cooling required and materials that will absorb heat but not burn you when you touch it. Such things are around for other purposes but very expensive and fragile. They are also old technology.
  17. Whats a blue fuck? Sex among Avatar fans?
  18. "Cant hit shit spraying with a whole mag."
  19. "Fuck Fuckity Fuck Fuck Fuck"
  20. I tried the speed fan app and it didnt control the cpu cooler. It did one, according to the control panel, but not sure which. Might pick up one of those front panel fan controllers with the dials.
  21. But this is America. We have the constitutional right to piss people off. Right and left alike. Well, most of us think we do. The Donald doesnt.
  22. I basically have an older version of this. I just seem to remember it being quieter but maybe that is just me. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118019
  23. I didnt think about that. Looked it up and it seems the good stuff isnt exactly cheap. Too expensive for those consumer sealed coolers. I assume its non toxic also. Maybe someday if I ever build one that would be the stuff to get to ease my concerns. Thx.
  24. I dont really need it because while I dont like the fan noise most of it is due to the cpu fan. Which is a decent one but several year old. Likely needs to be replaced and probably much quieter ones are now available. However I would think by now there would be a way to actually protect components from leaks. Even bad ones. Yes I know all the 'unlikely to happen' answers but it doesnt answer the question. Best practices makes it prudent to assume that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. How would you actually protect everything from a bad leak so they arent touched by the liquid thus destroying them?
  25. Depends on if its an exploit or not. But yea off map is an obvious no no. I thought I included that. Some people might consider the roof of the middle building on Backlot an exploit because its not that easy to get there and requires a bit of a tricky jump that isnt readily apparent. That or the broken building on Convoy that looks more like a place they simply forgot to put the 'mantle' hint on. But some call that an exploit. Then there is the roof on Overgrown that is also tricky to get to that some call an exploit.
