Its been a minute since I got my new computer and therefore became unable to play anymore. I miss it dearly as well as all you psychos. Figured I could at least jump in and chat. So what is new?

I play around with BitCoin a bit but don't get too deep. It's just to sketchy and volatile to count on. I did make some money on the jump to 34k as I bought in at 8k but I am out of it at the moment. Gonna spend more time learning to day trade the normal market for a bit just to learn/earn some fun money.

This makes me a sad goat as I will have to upgrade eventually and installing windows or running windows in any form is simply out of the question for me. I will definitely miss playing but I guess I will get more work done so if there is a silver lining, that is it.

Overall I love this mod. I definitely have days where my bullets just don't hit anything and some days where I can't miss. I am certainly guilty of bitching about it but I ultimately know that everyone deals with it. I don't ever think anyone is hacking, though bunny hoppers are certainly exploiting a flaw in the game. The things I would like to see... 1. If I throw a grenade and get killed. That grenade should continue on its path rather than just drop where it is as I am killed. 2. I would love to see a bounty appear on players that have large streaks going. A little extra reward for ending somebody's attempt at the nuke. Could even do something where the larger the kill streak a person is on the more points that are awarded for killing that player. 3. I can't quite understand why some player cars explode from one bullet while others can take full magazines and have no issues. Might be a reason or a perk applied, I just don't know what it is. 4. Another idea to prevent people from camping would be to have their position ping on the minimap after killing 3 or more people from a location without moving outside of a 10m range. People could still move and come back to the spot but it would be enough to expose them. That's all I have for now. Appreciate the good work Sammy!

Street is right about the grinder. I started with that same Capresso but quickly realized that it wasn't nearly sufficient for espresso. I have since upgraded several times going from the Capresso to the Breville Smart Grinder > Baratza Encore > Baratza Vario > and now the Compak E8. I'm not fucking around anymore. Here is my current cafe setup, some of my latte art, and a shot being pulled from my Slayer Espresso machine. The Compak E8 is the grinder just left of the espresso machine. The vario is left of that.

Hell yeah Timmah! That is awesome. I haven't gotten into the roasting. I am more of an Amateur Barista than a roaster. I have become friends with all of the local roasters so I have access to lots of great coffee. What do you use for roasting? Do you have a small batch roaster or are you using a stove top device or popcorn popper? I built a cafe in my basement this year to house my Slayer Single group espresso machine and compak E8 grinder. I use a Baratza Vario as my pour over grinder. As for coffees, I tend to wander all over the spectrum as far as regions and roast levels. I am currently pulling a Kenya from Kindred Coffee in West Chicago, IL and Ghost Town Guji from Bozeman, MT. Both are on the brighter side and are roasted medium to light medium. Have you tried an aeropress Timmah? Far better than a French Press IMO. Gives a much cleaner more consistent cup of coffee.

Got to chatting in game the other day about coffee and our mutual obsession with it. I wanted to get a discussion going about your favorite brewing methods, roasts, cafés and what kind of setups you are all using. I'll start... I am a huge fan of Aeropress for a normal cup of coffee and it is my go to for camping. When visiting a cafe or at home I typically go with espresso, or espresso based drinks. Anyone other XI folks have espresso setups at home? What are you brewing right now?

I remember somewhere an anti-camping feature on a server that caused you to have stun gas effects if you sat still for too long. Ever try that on here¿
