Agree, it's all about the flavor....you have to find something you like. Just like choosing Winston or Kool or whatever, finding juice is the same thing. I've been only vaping vanilla for almost 2 years now.

the difference between ssd's and hdd's is night and day...i had the western digital black 640gig...so i bought a hard drive docking station for 16 bucks...and installed my 240g ssd, i use the hdd for pics and music or movies...and i usb it ,when i need it....you can say when you get the ssd that it is faster than any hdd ever thought of being....

i never had to get rid of anything or any functions .....or file system actions...had my 240 gig osd vertex for four years now...the only thing you have to do is turn off auto defrag as defragging ssd's will ruin them.....defrag is not needed with ssd's

No brainer! Get the SSD. Why do you even need 4TB unless you're doing video editing or something really heavy duty. The speed difference with an SSD is amazing!

Always run SFC for problems like this. It's easiest to run from within windows. Open a command prompt and type is sfc /scanow, hit ENTER. SFC will fix any problems with the operating system files.
 
If you can't get to windows, put in your windows disk, boot to it and choose REPAIR from the options. When you get to the command prompt, type in:
 
sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows
 
Once you get windows up, open windows explorer, right click on your C: drive>PROPERTIES>TOOLS>CHECK NOW. It will ask if you want to schedule a disk check on reboot, say YES. Reboot the computer and let it run.
 
Often, missing files are a sign of a failing hard drive , malware or viruses. You should run full virus and malware scans. If those are clean, then determine which brand of hard drive you have and download their diagnostic tool. Run a FULL CHECK of the hard drive and then you'll know if you actually have a hard drive problem. 
 

 
Yep I know the story Terry. He needed a valve replacement and he couldn't have it done in Canada without them cracking his ribs and chest open with a long recovery period. He found a cardiac doctor in Florida that could do it with a 2 inch incision under his arm. I'm not blaming the guy for doing it, but to say that Canadians "only" cross the border for medical procedures for cosmetic reasons is just plain wrong.
 
Yes we pay through the nose down here but I can be in practically any US city and get immediate state of the art medical care. There is something to be said for that.

how about what is running in the back ground. What is the CPU usage when you are doing nothing. Right click task bar then select task manager and look at performance.. what does it show. Should be 0 1 but not much more for a clean boot or even when doing nothing. 
 
If it is more then you look at processes and show process for all users. Sort by CPU... see what bounces up and down. If again low on everything... then you are cool. If not then sort by memory... if you see a processes growing and growing... you found your problem. 
 
If you know all this and have tried.. the just ignore.

Is this an integrated NIC? Add an external NIC, disable the onboard and see if the problem persists. NIC's are CHEAP as hell. You need to figure out if it's actually your NIC, your router or your modem.

Yeah, sometimes a good map with tons of spawn raping gets everybody going for a while. Over the last couple weeks when people get bored I'll throw on a map called wawa which is just a rectangular arena with boxes and a spawn killing nightmare. For some reason it brings people out of the word work to play and everybody has a good time. Maps like that are a nice change every few hours, although I usually need at least a one map break after I play it just to let my brain settle down.

Moon Map with low gravity is fun...any of the old maps set with low gravity renews an old tired map nicely. Just a suggestion to spice it up.
