And if you cannot plug in another computer, what does pingplotter tell you as you ping various servers?

Musically spectacular, lyrically whimsical.

I undedrstand the mechanics that produce the qport error. In nutshell, it's a crash between maps that leaves the server waiting for a reply from your computer, or in the absence thereof, it times out and drops your connection. But in the meantime, it's a qport error when another instance of the game on your computer trys to connect while the server is still waiting for your last session to respond. I posted what I believe is the setting responsible for the "regular" timeout interval - 30 seconds in your case. Labob has said something about the redirect - exactly what he's trying to tell us, idk, but then I'm stupid when it comes to trying to interpret the written word of Labob. He even posted a chunk of settings pertaining to the redirect. The only thing I thought odd was the line that reads: seta sv_wwwDlDisconnected "0" - which I believe (partly because of my interpretation of Labob's comments) should be set to "30" just like the other timeout. However, I'm unclear why a qport error should be happening that is taking longer than the 30 seconds already set. I questioned whether the long-duration qport error was happening only if the person crashed downloading a map, but the answer I think I got was, no, it happens at random. That would seen to relieve the redirect from suspicion. That takes us back to the original post I made containing the setting for the 30 second timeout. As for the maps possibly not matching the redirect, there is a "house keeping" feature of the Downloader that deletes all local maps. It forces the player to download all the maps again, but it's the only way for the layperson to make sure their maps match. I'm not all that sure that would be the problem, and I say that because I think I'm hearing that this is a widespread issue, not just one or two players. If it is so widespread, then the only way the redirect could be suspect is if someone was up there messing around with the maps and a bunch of them got corrupted. Not out of the question, but unlikely. And Labob did say an effort was put into ensuring all maps match all servers. If you suspect file corruption between servers is the root cause, do you have the tools to do a comparison? I do, but I don't want to get in the middle of your efforts. I'm interested to hear if the setting change you made worked; however, as I was writing this Gatorgirl PMed me on TS telling me Kami was just stuck in a qport error - "<17:38:36> "Gatorgirl>XI<Adm": well, kami was just on here and he is having the same problem as Blaze getting kicked between maps and can't reconnect due to duplicate port" Let me know if I can help in any way.

Tough love to you, my brother. http://windowssecrets.com/top-story/are-systemregistry-cleaners-worthwhile/

Time for a refill. But please, no more store-bought hummingbird feed with the red food dye. If it causes cancer in human beings, imagine what it does to these tiny little darlings! Making your own is simple and cheap. 1/4 cup sugar, 1 cup water. Or in other words a 4 to 1 ratio of water to sugar. Put the water in a glass measuring cup in the microwave. Nuke till the water just begins to boil (this kills any germs in the water.) Note the time it takes so you can just dial it in next time rather than watch for it. Add the sugar and stir till dissolved. Let sit on the counter till it's come down substantially in temperature. Hummingbirds are attracted to the contrast and color of the "flowers" in the base of the feeder, not the color of the liquid. I have used this recipe for YEARS and have so many hummingbirds around that I sometimes need to call in additional Air Traffic Control to handle all the traffic at the feeder. To clean the equipment (a must!). To be done at each refill. Flush the base with hot water from the tap. Use an old toothbrush to clean the bee traps and Q-Tips to wipe out around the base of the "flowers" where the yellow bee traps press onto the feed outlets. Fill the glass bottle with water and nuke it till it just begins to boil (again, note the time this takes.) Use oven mitts to remove from the microwave, then pour the near-boiling water over and through the base parts for extra germ killing action. Don't nuke your nectar bottle in the microwave if it's plastic. Instead, and assuming you care about the care and feeding of hummingbirds, throw the whole thing out and get one of these instead. No really. Please. Get one of these instead. (but throw away the free sample of nectar mix they include, unless it contains no red dye.) (oops, my link didn't show up. It's there now...) -
Yeah well she could overcook my bacon anytime she likes.

Now this is a bloody brilliant guide!

Wait. You have a clothes washing machine in the Kitchen? AND it doubles as a dryer? How the fuck does it do that? Wait. You have separate rooms for the bathtub and the toilet? Wait. You don't have screens on the windows? Have you no insects?

That should be Brunch, not Breakfast. By the time you've got all that made, it's 10:30am - Brunchtime. Lava bread? Eww.

Mine is 6.95GB after a successful upgrade to Win10. To shrink the size of yours, open cleanmgr and click the "Clean up system files" button. It won't eliminate the winsxs folder, but it should clean out the cobwebs a bit.

Well, if we're gonna pass a doobie, then I vote for this one. This is the first song I ever hear stoned. And it was on a really GOOD stereo, too. Blew my mind right there and then. Started an immediate fascination with audio gear in me because I just couldn't believe how amazing a really great amp and speakers could sound, lol. Which subsequently led to me building my own stereo system in 1976 as a senior in high school (which incidentally is still working fine and sitting in my living room today (second picture.)

I've always been partial to this one from Duran Duran.

@@ViPRZ - What !fu command do you think you need to use? -
It's not a downgrade. Win 10 Pro is the highest level you can get (enterprise licensing aside, but I don't think there's anything all that special in the enterprise licenses; they're just Pro licenses sold in packs.)

I was waiting and waiting, too. What I did was right-click on the Win10 notification icon, then clicked Go to Windows Update. I had a failed update - which I also saw on my laptop, too. Not sure what is up with that. But anyway, I went to the Action Center (flag icon in the notification area) and under repair options, I chose to Fix problems with Windows Update. It found and fixed the problem, and the pending updates went through. Once I had a clean indication that all updates had been applied without error, I did another Check for Updates. And there it was - a big old message sitting there saying Upgrade to Windows 10. This may not work for you, so please don't get discouraged if it doesn't. It has worked for as many people as it hasn't in my experience. For those who it hasn't worked, I guess the wait continues, or you have to go find the Microsoft site where you can download the upgrade.

Multiplayer messing up

I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's that SLI. Pull one card and see if COD doesn't behave. -
Jason and Kelly - what an amazing production!

I admit it - I just crush on Julianne Hough whenever I see her. And if you want to see her in a great movie, check this one out. The ending (of the movie, not the trailer) will absolutely delight you! An absolutely BRILLIANT movie, one of my most favorite of ALL time.
