DM1 will not get updates till my rotation automation application has been expanded to handle other servers. That is still a few rotation cycles away. Play on DM2. DM1 is only an escape hatch for when the so called "pro gamers" come around and you don't want to play with them. Because that isn't all that often, it shouldn't be much of a hardship to stick with the main game server. And when you do go over to DM1 (for now anyway) there will be a completely different set of maps then you are playing on DM2, which seems like kind of a bonus to me. Rugger has stated he wants both servers in sync, so that is the ultimate goal.

1) I don't have to ask you for anything. You "retired" as an admin because you wanted to travel with your wife in retirement from your career job. As I recall, I was the one who suggested we should reinstate you as a game admin so you could restart the server or perform other requests when asked. Without my help in that, you'd probably still be a regular member. You're welcome. 2) I did none of the things you've just accused me of. I haven't laid one finger on the DM1 server that Labob set up. 3) This DM1 server was not set up for regular play. It has a purpose beyond our regular server, DM2. Rugger is always welcome to weigh in, but I'm sure he has far more important things to do than deal with this crap.

And here's the other shoe: @2_MANY_BEERS - You are not authorized to make rotation changes on any >XI< server. You are not the server admin on DM1. Stop recruiting people into this server. It was not set up as a normal gaming server for our members or guests. At best it's an escape server for those who simply will not play with the so-called "pro gamers" or alternatively for those "pro gamers" to play on because we deny them access to the main DM server.

Wow. Science. Medicine. Skills. I'm glad things are moving in all the right directions for him! At 15, he might have quite a hard time dealing with this, though, so my prayers for strength for him and your whole family!

Well, let me correct you on one point here. The player is not disrupting the server, all the people who don't like that they are getting their asses kicked are disrupting the server by calling the player a hack, a cheater, making comments about how he doesn't exist in the server and the #2 player is actually the winner. Then half of them decide to leave because they just can't fathom how anyone could be so much better than they are and simply must be cheating. Then they start berating the Admin team for not doing anything about the fact that there's someone in the server that's way better than they are. This isn't about "the player". All they want to do is play. No, this is about all the >XI< rule violations that members and guests commit in the presence of someone better than they are. Good players get banned while people breaking >XI< rules have no consequence at all. In the end, that's what this is about, as I see it.

@Timmah! - Thanks for the memory. I took my daughter to see the Pompeii concert when it came around to our local theater. She thought it was kinda "trippy" and I guess I couldn't argue, lol. But it was quite an experience even though it was only in a theater. I loved David's backup singers! And well, more cowbell! (had to be said)

Dude, whaaat? Didn't you know? For over a decade (until the American Music Industry made it impossible for me to continue) I ran an Internet radio station called Girls Rock Radio and a second station for a few years (same fate as GRR) called Country Girl Radio. Gaga? Hell yes! I love her! From the moment I saw her Monster's Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden, I was completely hooked. And after seeing her in a couple of appearances on Ellen, I found she really has a heart and is a genuinely wonderful person. Meat suit, notwithstanding. Somewhat of a kook, but in a playful, not psychotic way, because at some level she's fearless and can push the boundaries.
