Played cod4 freeze other night -- members had mentioned they could barely hear me in game ...as many of our members use this game to socialize and do not play the newer games its really the only way for me to get to see them so often thats why I play these days to chat with them and keep in touch ... using a creative fatality gaming headset and usually have to turn mic way down as the mic is very senstitive for other games ... checked in game sound options and currently its higher then I usually have it still no go .... last time this happened it turned out to be resolved by a re-install of the cod4 game --perhaps it had a corrupted file --shrug .... any ideas ???

Its what I use and so far is the most comfortable headset I have owned and half the price of the audiophile sets ... let us know how you like it

Guildwars2 is finishing up the beta phase and gearing up for launch --- http://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/ Myself and my wife along with top guild everquest members have been a part of the beta --and I have to say this looks really good . FREE TO PLAY just an initial game purchase atm ... though I cant give out character names until release due to the confidentiality agreement -- I will say --XI members are allready on the top of the charts in the hall of immortals still up in the air if they will allow us to transfer status /items from beta to live . fantastic graphics and the ability (similiar to rift ) to have your actions directly impact the virtual world along with random --real time events that you can be a part of to break the boring quest , quest , quest momentum --I just hope they dont nerf my first few builds like they did in rift (and lost me as a subscriber --I started to take it personal --everytime I developed a dominant build --it seemed to get nerfed in the next patch One of our junior officers from the everquest guild is in charge of setting up the Guild upon launch --should we have XI members interested let me know --will get you up and running quickly as we are pro's at fast power leveling --if your new to Guildwars2 you can try out the original game for free on thier site to give you an idea of the game mechanics .

Have not seen any of our fantastic XI ladies on the BF3 servers We miss you ladies --can you please buy BF3 and come play with us ???

Wife clicked the order button the other day , nice surprise in mail --computer went together easily --a ton of room in the case even with the large push/pull cpu cooler and the frozer 3 equipped graphics card that required renting a crane to put in thought I had a sata connect dvd player around to load windows and such with , however all mine are ide cable (been along time since i purchased one lol ) so had to order one , should be here in a few days --so build is together save the dvd drive ---hopefully will be up and running for this weekend ATI who /what @??

my current one , and so far works great http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826158082 last one i had was a logitech usb --it worked well for a while then one day just stopped working --also had the vinyl earpiece coverings , (over time used to break my ears out as it trapped sweat ) The fatality gear has cloth covering , on the ear cups --alot more comfortable for those long gaming sessions and the frequency response is great , I miss nothing ---if i get snuck up on , it was because I was not paying attention , not due to the limitations of the headset transferrring enemy footsteps... I am really hard on headsets and keyboards so I have learned not to go too expensive as I tear them up fairly quickly . mic can be taken off and on easily --for those scooby snacks while gaming or to smoke a ciggy without worry of the nasty smell of burnt mic covering

Have shrapnel in my lower back --and beside one of my shoulder blades , from an IED --docs thought at the time it was too close to my spine to operate and remove so left it in --though fun at airports ,I have been really lucky so far it only itches every now and then --particularly when pressure/barometer changes eg... storm coming in . Got hit by a moron on the free way --rear ended my ford F-250 and totaled it -- He was on his cell phone and did not apply his brakes --we were stopped due to an accident in front of us blocking traffic --estimated speed at impact was 80mph ---Got a new truck out of it and 1 ruptured and 2 herniated discs in my lower back (5 through 7 if your looking at an MRI or lumbar spine chart ) -- severe pain and sciatia --eg.. nerve damage numbness back of left leg .... I refused drugs for the pain as I am one that does not even like taking aspirin (my drugs of choice are nicotine and caffeine ) --what finally worked for me was --decompression therapy , where they put you on a machine that literally stretches you (and your spine ) over time --all computer monitored of course -- it allows your body to --re-inflate the discs to a certain extent and relieves pressure that may be causing pain on the nerve endings --- took 4 months --- I have been pain free for 3 years now .. Check in your area for spine/rehab/pain management or sports /rehab they may be able to point you in the right direction --mine was covered fully by my insurance .

mouse = razer imperator or the latest optimized for the games you are playing (fps --mmo ...etc... ) above 5600 dpi it can be a bit challenging in Bf3 as the mouse has to be turned way down for you to be able to hit anything --no big though , many of us have them and can help you tweak it to your liking for the game if you decide to go that way ---get a decent mousepad /mat (I use the razer exactmat --1 side is for speed , 1 side is for precision ) with a gel rest for those long hours of gameplay. Keyboard = I am really hard on keyboards so --I just get one that has spill proof coating --think current one is from logitech , if you wanna go higher end the G series from logitech or the razer gaming keyboards are some of the best .
