Buy the premium , best bang for your buck ---all expansions ---if you allready have back to karkland of course you dont get it overwritten its just there for those that dont have it yet , they can now get all the expansions in one purchase .

Keep it like it is my 2cents --as long as it stays hardcore --its all good ... being as we had trouble keeping the US hardcore populated , lets just roll with what we have on the EU now it seems to be doing fine . I play rush on local servers with low ping to get my fix .

Hiya bro , Been around , lately been busy with world of tanks and Guild Wars 2 beta and generally as you know alot of us do not play softcore much as it tends to weaken our game for hardcore ,(eg.. char takes less damage , heals over time , kill cam showing enemy positions etc.... ) but will hop on to socialize if we have a few members on the softcore server . Will be on our servers sometime this weekend though for sure .

If you have not checked the game out yet and your into mmorgs --take a peek the developers have finally listened to the players and implemented the changes we asked for eg... no more monthly sub fees to play , no restriction on free trade in game on manufactured and dropped items , ability to effect the virtual world around us through our decisions in game , and MASSIVE pvp battles 100 chars + etc... etc... Bring a beefy computer as the graphics are detailed and system hogging for those that may have older systems .. enjoy !!!

a few of us have been playing world of tanks a free game that is actually quite addictive lol we have started a tank company there so that we may play together . the game is easy to play and not hard to level up your tanks -- Tank company commander is Heffalump >XI< Head Admin We are on teamspeak for squad communication . Both companies make great cards atm so you could do well going either way --- As you may Know I recently built a new machine to play the latest games --- I went with an AmD /ATI build (see my post ---"time to upgrade again " for components --- every game I throw at the black edition 7870 --it laughs at on max settings and the card has never gone over 40 C Bf3 runs on ultra (all settings maxed ) average of 120 -140 fps Looking forward to see what it can do on --Guildwars 2 with large (100 + people ) clan wars on screen at once !!! Look for a price drop on these cards in June as ATI pushes their 7970 cards the 7870's will drop considerably ---with minor overclocking they blow away most of the 7970 's atm Good reviews on toms hardware and 3d guru for them .

Amd 8 core and ati 7870 oc --up and rolling ---booted up fine , from the get go --memory detected (dual 8 mb sticks ) and all 8 cores unlocked and optimized via the windows hotfix for the bulldozer chips -- cpu overclocked out of the box from 3.1 to 4.2 with no wattage change or increase -- temps staying at 32.c and 34c on the vid card --- So far have achieved sustained 230 fps on ultra settings (everything maxed ) 1920 -1080 on skyrim with the high res texture pack loaded --loading up BF3 to see how it does on that now --- still some more tweaking to do ... will put it through a burn in test on some benchmark programs tonight ---hopefully I dont blow it up lol Windows loaded in 4 seconds and yes I came in my pants @@!!! cya on the battlefield

well done on the maps Boomer and ty for letting us get a sneak peak at them --though its been awhile since I have played cod4 ---was not unpleasant ... with the map layouts I see it catering to a variety of play styles , though an aggressive "run and gun " such as myself would have to modify my behavior to avoid encamped snipers , the tunnels give me an excellent avenue for getting quickly to the opponents side and gleefully ---knifing and blowing them up with c4 from the rear ... also saw many locations for easy "across the map " de thaws while still being able to stay behind cover. I hope to see them in rotation on our servers so that I may have a chance to see how they play ---with more than just a couple players active on the map.
