So I played on the US server for the first time in a long time, because I've been working. I noticed the conquest maps are quite rare now. I observed quite a few rounds of capture the flag and obliteration this afternoon. I had to double check that I was on the US server as I usually see this on the EU server. Naturally I left during these rounds as I don't like OB or CTF. I understand fully that the Europeans like this style of play, however there are quite a few of us Americans and dare I say Canadians that prefer CQ and DOM on the US server. There are even a few of us that really like vehicles. Would it be possible to put more CQ vote options in and fewer OB and CTF? I find myself going to other servers which I prefer not to do as I am an Idiot and would like to support our servers.

I don't think "pistol/knife only" will keep people and definitively not me. TDM neither, don't really like that
 
In my opinion the close quarter maps are the best idea for that purpose, letting people vote for Gullin/Metro/Locker CQ or OB. It keeps 6 different way to have fun.

It all comes down to Respect. Show some. No one is asking anyone one to give up their rants, just show respect for others. We had a couple of kids in ACE MOD the other night and all the adults willingly curbed their more colorful metaphors. I was proud of those idiots! Respect, simple as that.

Can we not have a debate over if it is an acceptable word or not? 
 
If I recall it was being over used to the point that it was being spammed, the BF4 admins saw fit to add it to a kill list to encourage players not to use it. Not saying it's not allowed because it certainly is - just you will die if you say it.
 
The word is not bannable and is not against our rules - simply a process was added to encourage players to not spam it on those specific servers.  
 
As far as the player causing problems, as you know sob sometimes it's a pain in the arse and there are few admins online - we are certainly not perfect :/
 

Just ordered a 4gb GTX770 and will have it on Saturday. I know that some with this card have had to set up bf4 a certain way or made changes.
 
Anything I should know before installing and setting mine up? From what I understand, I should completely uninstall all drivers and software and then do a full clean install and driver download once new gpu is in. Anything else you'd recommend for bF4?

Honistly today was a slow day at work, iv been watching these all day intermitently... I now love BFFs

I was playing promod and I got the last kill of a round with a grenade on this guy named Tronzor. He has a past reputation of being a hacker and he got mad and turned his hacks on and killed me the rest of the map. He told me I sucked and that I sit in a corner all game. Next map, he was on my team and the map was Strike. Strike is a pretty open map and he had a sniper rifle while I had my shotgun. I beat him with a final score of 34 kills, 3 assists, and 18 deaths after 24 rounds of 8v8. Before the map was over he was ahead of me by 5 points and again said I sucked, but the next round I got 4 kills and he got none and I beat him. He rage quit before I could rub it in. It felt so good. I stopped playing promod 2 months ago because it was boring and there was so much negativity between disrespectful players and hackers. I started playing again yesterday because the MW2 Beta server was full and I got tired of waiting lol. Another hacker bites the dust!

I have no idea what the new game mode involves.
 
I saw you attempting a straw poll during a quiet period on the CQ64 server - I don't believe you will obtain
representative results from this.
 
Some of us have not yet seen all the maps even in Conquest mode.
 
I don't like Operation Locker - the map exacerbates the ping differences between US and Euro players.
 
I don't care for Rush mode much.  (Have you noticed I might like maps with choppers and tanks? )
 
I agree with the wisdom expressed above - if you tit about with this server too much, the end result is you will
bleed players.  From the perspective of someone who often has to queue to get onto it, I see no reason to
mess with a popular server.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Last time Caliber tried that, the server emptied out,  ended up with less than 10 ppl within 30 minutes and we weren't able to recover the rest of the night. Just some tribal history on the subject of adding additional game modes in.  
 
Edit:  Only voted "no" because of the server population drops/server rank drops i've witnessed when we integrated different game modes previously....not that I, personally dont like different game modes.  

I completely agree with this. this is a polished up bf3... but i still love it

Most have notice while playing that your Hit markers and your hip fire marker disapear while playing.
 
There are two ways to fix this!
 
1. DIE!
or
2. Hit your "Esc" on your keyboard and then resume your game.
 
These will both restore the markers to the center of your screen.
 
Zombaric a normal in our Teamspeak server showed me how to do this and im passing the information to everyone else!
