ah friends, if the son is as savvy as all of you in this regard he will know it as well. he may even be watching these posts as he may have already accessed shamu's history and whatnot. I mean, he is a tech guru, so he will know all of this. Shamu, i think the direct approach is best. You are the one footing the bill. No offense, but at 38 with a job like that, what is he doing living at home anyways??? perhaps a small apt or house rental should be a logical choice of one that age...just an opinion, dont mean to pry and such. It's just that if he does computer work for a living, he has you outclassed in this regard of downloading and history and router access and whattnot, especially if he has admin access to your pc, and as a comp tech, he has killer working knowledge. If was me, knowing your deal a little, i would take all computers and give em to the local school after i wiped the hard drives, buy a new pc...no wireless modem and no router, just a single hardwire connection, and password access it only for you at startup. totally limited access. may be a bit much, but your concern for your own protection is the primary focus here. Just an opinion.
