what about brand x fitiing my chasis, power cords for components and whatnot...is all that stuff standard for an hp pavillion?

i am ready to upgrade...HOORAY AND ABOUT TIME!!!. I have the nvidia gt9500 (thx again bushape!!!) to install in my hp pavillion a6500f. I am pretty sure it will fit because it came equipped with a nvidia gforce 7100, if i'm wrong someone please tell me. the vid card requires a minimum of 350w. I had thought to go with 430 from some stuff i saw on newegg.com. What i need to know before i attempt this amazing feat are two things... 1) what psu will fit my chasis.(or is all that stuff pretty standard?) I've looked for specs to say yeah or nay but cant seem to find them. Not being a tekkie i dont really know where to go or what keywords to try for the appropriate info. I would hate to order something online, get it, and find out it doesnt fit. 2) how much wattage do i really need. A dude at work told me that about 425 should be more than enough. However, my rig is primarily for gaming and i want my card to perform admirably, so i dont know if overpowerning the system (i.e 500-600w) will be good, bad, or ugly in the end. as always, i appreciate any feed back from any of my fellow idiots. I am heartened to know that being an idiot doesnt necessarily make you a friggin moron!!!Thx folks!

caught the sarge today in the chat box and got some much needed help in something so simple. With his help i finally found the air adjust screw for my carb(which i didnt know it had two to begin with). Went and made the adjustments he recommended and BAM!!!!The truckus is running like a dream now. Smooth idle at stops, no rich smell at cutoff or standing still idling.outstanding. Now i only have one more question....why cant the Sarge be this cool in game ...huh?!?!

i have had a little less of a problem since switching to a usb headset instead of the normal input jack, which for my audio still has a altec lansing speaker setup plugged in

im sorry your having trouble credit. Back before you first got your tags i played with you often, i never thought you were hacking, but that;s beside my point. Here is the deal. If you werent hackin and someone stole your cd key, than i'm sorry for you. I would hate to drop my tags for any reason, but if i couldnt play on the servers anymore for whatever reason, i would drop them because if i can't come to the party, then there is no reason to be dressed up. It sucks and i think everyone realizes that. I do have a question for those in the know. If PB bans your guid, and you are forced to purchase a new game with a new gamekey, will your guid change as well and allow you to end around the PB ban to some degree...even at a personal financial cost? These things are beyond my nooby comprehension. Anyways, i do hope you get it sorted out credit.
