sent my comp to a mate's dad today, who's gonna look it over. he thinks it might be a driver problem, and the shop thinks a hardware prob. so hopefully i'll be back playing soon. its been soooo long that i'll even be easy for sonova to slap me...meh wish me luck

IF i somehow get another copy of xp windows sp 3 will it repair ? a mate at work, says it wont work, which is a crying shame, as i will lose all my stuff, i cant get on itunes folder where i have 2k songs, only 30 odd downloaded, rest of cds that i have no more. i cant seem to open it with out dling a program, and my pc wont get on the internet with service pack 2 so that program is unavailable.. or would windows 7(which i haven't got) be a better optoin, and just say fuck it to all my data? cos i phoned the shop who built the comp 2 yrs ago for me, and he reckons it could be a hardware problem, but he could be fishing for money, i dont know so basically atm, i have 2 windows xp on my machine. xp sp3- broken unable to load, wont run in ANY mode, says put in cd and press r ( i don't have cd now) xp sp2- working-ish no internet for some reason, so any dling is impossible, unless i am being a complete asshead. any advice would be soooo welcome, cos if i have to spend another week getting nagged by my wife it will end in bloodshed. at least playing cod i was able to drown her out.

buy a slower comp, and that problem will disapear, as it will take longer to get in game:) muhahahaha, meanwhile, loan me ur faster one

i cannot dl it, as my comp has no internet. am on a really slow laptop. the xp sp2 gets my comp to work-ish but it refuses to find the modem for my broadband, that this laptop finds wireless..... the xp sp3 is the one that only gets as fas as an error telling me to put in a cd and press r, i HAVE NO cd as lost in move in feb

anyone know where to buy/steal er..borrow a copy of xp sp3? hoping that might fix my windows without a full shop repair and installation, as i have loads of music i really dont wanna lose as cds borrowed from freinds to put on their ipods. or is it worth putting my foot thro the comp? i have a syst32/config error or something. is that a hardware or windows problem? as i put xpsp2 on that works, but no internet can be found? plz help, i am slowly going bald and bald chickens tbh probably will look like a cross beteen a turkey and vulture...yuck!!!!!

Ok, i have voted, and i do play on all 3 servers, all 3 have action at certain times of day. I can come on here tomorrow lunchtime and say look, Server 1 is near full, so is MW and server 2 is dead. Then at this time of night it is the opposite and server 2 is rocking and server 1 is dead. Why change any of these 3 servers???? We have a Knife server that very rarely has anyone in it, also a Star Wars mod server that is dead most the time, a MW2 DM server that sees minimal action. Id say if you are going to try a new mod out, grab one of these dead servers to try it out on, not one that does see daily action. And like Sexy said, i am one of those people who only play the MW2 mod when there is noone on server 1 or 2. if all three servers were at 15 players in game, i would pick server 1 EVERYTIME without thought. AMEN bro!!!

I love work. in the same way i love my wife's constant bad moods and yelling at kids. i went to work last night, and i was sweeping buses. after the 3rd bus, i stepped off, onto some raised ground and twisted my ankle. most of the guys said i should take time of work paid as it was an industrial accident, but as i said to the forman i'll feel like a right "pleb" putting it in the accident book. So they put me on fueling. HA. i love fueling, but cos i was hobbling i managed to throw deisel ALL over my chest. yay great. After cleaning that of, i spilt oil IN my left shoe(my left ankle was twisted so i was balanced on t'other foot) and while trying to stop it i dropped the whole watering can on my other foot. ALL because i felt guilty over not going home, and leaving 2 cleaners to do the job of four. FUCK, i'm an idiot!!!!!!!
