    I think Rugger is calling around to get various group rates from different places. I think we're going to have two groups of people, those that want to stay downtown, and those that don't...I don't think it's a problem either way, as the Deuce will you get you both ways for cheap...lol.

    Gotta bring my wife and kid, and unfortunately she would know if I went and wouldn't be too happy...lol. But I can tell you from past experience, Sapphires is probably the best IMO...not full nude, but women are beautiful, and the prices are standard. Take a limo to the place and get free cover as well....lol

    Also for those that wanted to, we could get a couple 15-pax vans (approx $320 per van for the 9-11 Oct) and we could use that to get to each group location, grand canyon, and what not. Figure 15 people at that price is $21.50/person for all 3 days. Cheaper than everyone renting their own car...

    I don't remember there being bad spawns, but I do remember some people had issues with people swimming out to the far end of the mountain and climbing up it...I never saw an issue with it, but people complained off and on about it.

    I know Brecourt is a popular map, and its fun to play, but there have been some rotations where there are two versions of the same map in rotation...while there are other maps that are played only once or twice a year.

    Is there any way to ensure that future rotations don't have brecourt every rotation, and try and mix in some maps that are only in 1 rotation that make appearances maybe twice a year? Can't think of the name of any offhand, but I feel we always get different versions of the same maps every rotation change. Not a complaint, just a suggestions! Keep up the good work guys!

    One place to consider staying at is the SLS las Vegas (used to be the Sahara). It's kiddy-corner from the Stratosphere, halfway between downtown and the Strip. Right now it's going for $90/night, but from what I hear they're having difficulty filling the place being so far North on the strip...we might be able to get a good group rate and it's a short bus ride downtown and the strip with easy access to the Interstate on Sahara drive.

    You can also get a servercache.dat file from someone else who's list does work and replace yours and it should work.

    Well the issue has to have something to do with Steam because I uninstalled the Steam version, installed a copy from disc, and had no issues joining the server.

    Looks like the D is fully booked from the 9th-11th...was going to reserve a room there as an alternate to the Hard Rock...but still of plenty of time...lol

    Hoover Dam is only about 40 minutes from Vegas, Grand Canyon is about 4 hours unless you go to the Indian Reservation site an hour and a half out of Vegas, but they are really expensive. OTher options for the Grand Canyon are an all-day bus tour or a helicopter flyover which would probably be the best option for a budget traveler with limited time in Vegas.

    You can always stay at a non-casino property and just meet up when theres things happening...not sure if thats worth it for you, but there is still fun to be had in places where under 21 is allowed in Vegas!

    For me go-karts have more appeal because its competitive, more people can race at once, and it's cheaper...all around better for a large group IMO.

    I will be there as long as the military doesn't send me anywhere in the mean time! Will probably be staying at the Hard Rock though instead of downtown...much more relaxing environment for the wife and myself when we're not out having fun...lol.

    Only file I copied was the pbgame.htm as instructed in the legacy version and re-ran the pbsetup.

    Still do not have it resolved on my desktop, and have a different issue on my laptop. Just installed it via Steam, updated punkbuster via the legacy updater on the site, and i can download mods, connect, but as soon as it loads the map it says Server Disconnected....any ideas on that?

    I dont have a map view so this will have to do for now. Right now the red lines are the flow out of the spawn church side...you can take the two left routes which join at the street corner where the star is, or you can go up the road itself. All of the battling always takes place at that street corner (star). Having another route open (either green line) would provide a secondary axis of attach and make it more competitive instead of just battling at one specific point. I know it would take quite a bit to add that into the map more than likely, but just a suggestion...

    I haven't seen the final version yet, and I know that it might deviate from the original (and I'm not sure how much custom you want to make it), but I would recommend adding another route to get to the opposite side of the spawn from where you can go now (spawning at church and going left to the other peoples spawn instead of going right and fighting at that right corner). I think that would add another element to the map that would make it less one-sided and more enjoyable....but overall great work Icey, great map!

    I think that issue is related to the redirect because I've had that issue in the past with some CoD5 downloads on our servers while others work fine. I guess I'm going to try uninstalling and re-installing on my end just to see if that helps. -.-
