Again, what does it matter? Just because he's a fuckhead, doesn't mean you can't enjoy the maps he made....it's not like he's benefiting from you playing on them...if he were, I would completely understand. But I just don't get removing maps because the map-maker is a prick.

Now I get what Boomer did was wrong, but I really don't see any reason to remove perfectly good maps (granted, I couldn't tell you which were his and which are not) from a server based on what the person themselves did. It's not like you're supporting him or what he did by playing on it...he has no gain either way and it doesn't hurt you either way. Just my 2c.

^I've already tried that. I think it has to do with everyone downloading at the same time when the map rotates.

Whenever I try to use the downloader, I have the WaW servers selected, but it keeps 'Preparing' the files for the WaW and keep getting notifications in my status bar that Ace Mod CoD4 download is complete nonstop, although I don't have any COD4 servers selected. When I try to connect in game, every time a map changes I need to download a map and it downloads at 10-35 kb/s...way to slow to download a 100mb file. Please let me know how to fix the downloader, or speed up the in-game download, and I'll join in. Until then, I'll stick to the VFT server.

Is it just me, or are the download speeds when entering the server really slow?

I think it's a good concept, just think it should be a separate occasion...maybe 2 fests each year, summer time campfest, winter time normal fest.

Looking to organize a party and Vegas isn't even being considered, wth? Major international airport with plenty of US connections so airfare would be cheap, no complaints about noise or rowdiness...because it's fucking Vegas...casinos all around with plenty of other shit to do, and lodging is cheap as well, I mean you don't even need to stay at a top end hotel...stay at any of the Station properties and you can get away with $30-50/night....hell we just had a 3-night stay at Hard Rock Hotel/Casino for $75 total + resort fees...granted that was mid-week, but come on people, bring the party to the Western half of the country, at a major international hub for flights for easy access, and all the party/fun you could even need!

That isn't going to happen if we play like we did against Cameroon...lol. Löw has lost his touch as can be seen by the last few exhibition games. I think we'll make it out of the group stage, but we'll be out shortly after that. As for France, sucks that Ribiery isnt playing, will def. hurt the team. USA will make it out of the Group stage alongside Germany, but won't get much further than that.

Very good list, however I don't expect TV to die anytime in the foreseeable future. Maybe in the traditional sense of having programming made specifically for TV purposes, however with the internetization of media such as Netflix, we will indeed be streaming more and more. But with TVs becoming more integrated with the internet and 'smart', we will still be streaming TV programming, it will just be made for an online medium and streamed from the cloud as you mentioned vice delivered by 'cable'. As for the post office, I think one of the biggest things that would help the postal system is the privatization of it. The fact that it really isn't designed to make a profit in this day and age and being restricted by the government in how it operates and manages its funds, is indeed leading to its demise. Privatize it, make it into a system symilar to UPS or Fedex, and increase competition and make it profitable once again.
