@Angelz The map redirect problem for single maps (say your missing one map) In WAW there is an issue where sometimes when getting redirected to the redirect you get bounced to the game server 12 kbs. You exit out go back in and it works again. DeeJay problem is this happens always. There is not fix to the redirect issue from map to map never was patched. Links to all the maps is a Rugger or Duc issue. I think they do not want our redirect to get hijacked by other servers so releasing the address to it is a problem. Thats just a guess though. I sometimes setup a few links to some big batches but it sucks up alot of my google space. so I do it only as a last resort.

So you have the maps and mod already. But your game keeps trying to download the mod or maps that you already have ?

So here's what I can try then . I'll zip up the maps on the servers and place them in google drive for you. Install the maps in the map folder and mod in the mod folder and see if that gets you in game. Give me an hour or two to do that.

Hmm DEEJAY you calm down now and have a tea to two hate to lose another this year. I wonder a few things here. SO lets try some things out and I'm sure we can narrow it down for you. Do I remember you telling us your ISP kinda sucks Hows that doing these days ? If you have two computers in the house even a tablet thats on your network. Can you try to connect to a server with your computer and when it goes down to 12 kbs get on the second and do a speed test for me. Also does this happen on all our COD 5 servers could you try them out for me please . Even try on somebody else cod5 server to connect see if it fails. I ask all this because all of XI cod5 server redirect lines are the same. Very little complaints about the connection. Some but after they let us know and they try the disconnect and reconnect everything seems fine. This does not mean its us or your ISP you may also have a bad ethernet card, Video card issue or bad WAW file somewhere causing the game to reject the site you are downloading from. So when a problem occurs and you lose connection for just a second the master server just sends you to the game server to get the file. The game server to help with bandwidth spikes keeps all downloads slow very slow . Its designed that way so players who are playing do not get lag issues. We have to find out whats doing that.

Not sure DJ but I'm sure there would be alot more complaints about bad map redirects if it was the servers. So I have to assume your connection is a bit lose in the caboose if ya get my meaning

its not a hack it corrects an issue with the game which he stated above. I know there are issues when pressing the USE key and you pick up unwanted weapons. I do forget the bind though. Here's the one you use now bind F "+activate" So I wonder if you tried bind f10 "+activate" if that would work. Thinking it's the "f" key that's the problem here IDK though for sure. I do think we can figure it out though.

So just to clarify this is COD WAW not COD4 right ? First if would seem you did this but go check it out again and compare . If it does not solve the issue try this next. Open steam go to your library find your game right click the launch icon select properties. Click verify game. You can also select the updates tab to make sure the game is getting updated. Good luck. In cases like this I'd say deleting the game and reinstalling is faster.

As far as I know the speed in the mod that will run Maybe friday night and the weekend is as it was untouched by human hands for 7 years I think .
