I didn't choose my ign, it was given to me by the first clan I was ever in... a F.E.A.R. clan called Pirate's 'Nsane Posse. The clan, as a group, were all big star trek fans, some liking original, some even liked deep space 9. I liked most all of them (didn't watch deep space 9) but my fav was Voyager. I liked the idea of a strong female protagonist who could still be ladylike. Although the character spelled her name Kathryn and I spell mine Katharine, the PNP clan dubbed me Captain Janeway. After a while it just got shortened to Janey. I honestly don't like it that much anymore, but then I think of Jayne Cobb of Firefly and I'm ready for some thrilling heroics. Stupid story, I know.

And I learned the Japanese song she sings. It's a traditional folk song called Sakara (cherry blossom)

I just had an interview, at a gas station no less, and prior to filling out an application asked if I have ever sued a former employer. I was hesitant, but he persisted so I said yes, for medical. He then said the job was taken.

At university I studied vocal music education but had a change of heart and got my degree in Counseling. Unfortunately, that doesn't help me much in the job market. Most of the jobs I've had have been in accounting/office management, which I love. I admit to being a paperwork nerd. When I moved back to New Orleans the only work I could find was Walmart, then I was injured on the job and terminated. Sued, got a little money which is finally running out, so I'm looking for a job. I would love a work at home job like I had in Nashville. The company kept overhead down by having everyone telecommute. I was assistant to the CFO and HR Manager. I had a job lined up to do taxes, but the IRS can't seem to "verify my identity" and wants me to go to their office. I'm kinda scared to go, I mean It's the IRS! so, now I'm looking. If anyone knows of any decent jobs, I'm happy to move away from New Orleans again. The job market here is awful.
