Hi all. I've moved into a lil studio apartment, just me and my cat. The Internet is all set up, but the tech forgot to turn it on at the pole! Another idiot...lol. They should be back today to turn me on. Below is a pic of all the stuff I have to unpack. What a job! I also have two job offers. The first is as tax accountant and I file for my IRS tax I'd Monday. The second is working part time in a pricy ladies plus size clothing store called Catherines, which is funny because my name is Katharine. Since a bra in my size, just a plain one, is $28, having an employee discount would be awesome! Both jobs will expect me to dress business casual, so I'll get to wear my nice clothes and jewelry again! YAY! If you have my cell #, gimme a text. If not, MSG me and I'll give it to ya. Mardi Gras season begins on epiphany, January 7th (12 nights after Christmas day) and Mardi Gras day is March 4th. I wish y'all could come one weekend for parades. 3rd year in a row I am suggesting and requesting XI fest be held in New Orleans. Y'all would have a blast. (Or even a "mini-fest" in February or March for Mardi Gras.) But yes, I agree that it should be held a little more south than you yankee bastards keep having it.
