    Like said take the MB out the case and test everything, It could shorting out on the case ..

    And on another note , I agree that the on board sound is better or equal to most sound cards ,

    dean did you put it together ? If you did , well take the motherboard out of the case and try it , no sound card, just the PS, and video card and one stick of ram , and see if you can enter the bios . then add your hard drive and try it , continue to add each piece till you find the problem one , If it doesn't boot to the bios with minimal components, then it's either the MB or PS.
